  • Kind of works

Works sort of, after setting some scenes when you try to switch back and forth between them it will work but when you try to change the brightness it will change the whole scene color… App is a great idea but needs the bugs worked out in future updates. I would be willing to pay for the app if works 100%

  • Only good to Turn lights on

If all you want to do is turn the lights on and leave the colour as is, then you can use this app. Connectivity makes it completely unreliable for changing light settings over a period of time. Used it once for an event and never again (Event layout made stringing wires very difficult, I did have wire backs ups). Going back to solely using my LP controller.

  • Works, but disconnects

I have to re-connect constantly. My iPad doesn’t sleep but it still drops. By the end of the night I have about 30 extra devices “connected”.
  • Version 3.6 sucks!

I had version 3.5 and used it last night, it works great and is quite simple to edit. It’s a tad bit glitchy but generally very useable.
I spent about 3 hours creating scenes a few weeks ago for my LED4s I downloaded the update today and the gui has been totally re-designed and now sucks.
My scenes are gone, and I don’t seem to have a choice to download the previous version.
    So…
I’d at least like to have the choice to download the previous version, having tried the new version, so far no such luck…

  • New update needs to be fixed. (It’s been fixed!)

Please allow the scene page to STAY up when switching between scenes. Many of us need the ability to rapidly switch between scenes and every time I select a scene, the scenes page minimizes. This means I have to keep bringing it up each time I switch scenes! Please fix this! Just add an X to close it, don’t make it automatically close!!! Also there’s a huge delay now. In the old app, the moment I pressed a new scene the lights would change to the new scene. There’s almost a half second delay now and it makes it so difficult to use when matching scene changes to music!! Please fix!! Update! It’s been fixed!! Thank you for reading your reviews!

  • Good, has connection issues

With no other resources online for this I hope this list of trouble shooting may help others.

    1. Turn your function dial to the Bluetooth channel a, b, c or d on the bar.
    2. Before you open your controller app turn your Bluetooth on. If it is on, turn it off and on again.
    3. At the bottom of the app make sure you have set your channel to the same as the function dial.
    4. Then select “add device”

When it works you will see 1 device in your device list.

This app needs a lot more work… would not recommend relying on it to actually function at a moments notice. I successfully connected my device once after 10 minutes playing around with restarting my devices, Bluetooth connect etc. as far as I can tell there are no blogs or online forums about people connecting this successfully 100% of the time.

  • New version of app won’t connect

It just says no devices connected and there’s no option to attempt to connect. How are other people making it connect?

  • Great but needs few more basic standard things.

As mentioned in other reviews. Needs a fade setting between presets and a master fader.

The “help” screen on iOS showed nothing.
The pad write mode is not clear on what that does.
  • Pretty good so far

The app is a pretty handy overall but some additional options and features would be nice. The option to slowly fade/transition from one scene to another, as another reviewer has said, would make for a less jarring experience. Secondly (I’m pretty new to stage lighting so maybe I’m missing something), I have found myself thinking a master dimmer to control brightness across all connected lights would be useful.
