i was in LA for the first time and had no idea where to go. yelp had a thousand reviews and left me confused. every restaurant had good and bad reviews where i didn't know if the restaurant was worth my time.
i heard about this app and it totally saved my life! real critics gave me great reviews AND recommendations. didnt have a bad meal the entire trip. so glad i downloaded this and can't wait till it comes to my city!!Show lesshehahakdkuegabhdlvodk
Here’s what I would like to see in the future
I think the idea of the app is great. However, I am unsatisfied with the fact that the places that come up when you search something are only NYC or LA. I live about 45 min from LA so it is no biggie, but I would like the app a lot more if there were food places from all around.Intilujan

Hi there - We’re only a small team of 2 people running the NYC area and starting to build out LA. It sounds like you're not in those areas, but we’re trying to expand soon so we can add your city to the list of places we'll expand to next! We are only in BETA and doing our best with the resources we have. I don’t know if it’s because it’s a new app or if it just really isn’t that great. No matter what category I end up rolling I click on “I’m hangry” and it doesn’t even show food near me. The closest restaurant is usually 100mi away or more. I checked to make sure I’m sharing my location and it knows where I am. Also no matter what food type/category I land on it shows all the exact same restaurants every single time. Will not be using until this is fixed.

Need a password to use the app, I had to ask them on Instagram and they opened my question and didn’t reply!!Szynon05

Downloaded the app to use it on the spot and it requires a password?? Pretty dumb. Says to message them on IG about it and it’s been 3 days with no response. I don’t see why you need a password for this app.jakebenke
Great idea...nothing local.
Its a great idea...if you live in new york. Nothing came up local and it only gives you a 1.5 mile radius max. So unless you’re in a city location you wont find much.FiZz399

i couldn’t get on the app because i needed a password, said to dm on insta for password. NEVER GOT THE PASSWORD. just deleted the app. i do not suggest getting this app unless you want a useless app.emily__wil27

I downloaded the app and it says that I have to DM some Instagram account to get the password to get in. I don’t even have an Instagram account first of all then I find out that it’s for New York only so it’s basically useless.ADouglasH

Regarding the password, we are only in BETA so it's very important to us that we develop a community with our users. We understand that you don't have Instagram, but we provide an alternative way to reach us in the app store description (staff@8itapp.com). We do this so we can offer our users the ability to reach out to us directly in real-time for any customer service issues, feedback and even ideas to make the app better.
