This app is not fit for purpose
It would be handy if this app actually worked for its intended use. As someone else already pointed out in their review, purchasing tickets via this app is impossible. When paying, transaction is required to be approved via banking app and when doing so, cannot return to finish the transaction as it aromatically boots you back to main screen, cancelling the purchase. So maybe perks at work should focus on fixing this app first before so blantantly pushing it via their website when trying to get ticket vouchers. Shame on you.

Needs a fix
There seems to be an issue where minimising the app or switching to another one resets the app to the landing screen and cancels any in-progress transactions. As my bank requires me to switch to its app to approve the payment, this makes completing the order impossible. I hope this can be fixed as otherwise it’s incredibly useful as a frequent cinemagoer.

Functionality fail
This app should be really handy but it has stopped working properly. Lots of errors and as others have mentioned when you need to leave to authenticate payment it restarts the whole process so is a vicious circle. Also why no Apple Pay? Sloppy.
Terrible
On attempting to purchase tickets via the app, it requires me to open my bank app to approve my transaction. However, when I open my bank app, approve and re-visit the Cinema app, the transaction disappears and cancelled. This has proven quite challenging for me to purchase cinema tickets and appears to be a flaw in the functionality of the app.

Cannot log in anymore
Since this went down for maintenance in May 2021 this app I longer works. Initially you were able to view purchases made online at Perks at Work but now I cannot log in anymore. On raising it with Perks at Work several weeks ago they said there was no app. I sent them screenshots to show that it was still available in the App Store and they said they would look into it. Clearly they haven’t as it’s still here.

Doesn’t work any more
Once upon a time this was a 5 star app. However, for the last several months (all of 2022) when you load the app a message pops saying “Something Went Wrong: the cinema app is currently undergoing maintenance for the next few weeks”.
Why an app needs to be down for maintenance is beyond me. Do whatever needs doing behind the scenes then upload the fixes, like every other software company does.
The app hasn’t had an update in over a year. Please fix it.

Cannot use!
I’ve used this through the website before, saw there was an app so makes everything easier. But I’ve logged into the app and then can’t do anything, any time I click on settings it just force shuts itself! Won’t load anything at all! How do you expect people to use an app of it won’t do anything? Please sort this out as the app could be very handy.

Good App, but needs work
I use this app quite frequently and it offers good prices depending on what cinema you go to. Cineworld and odeon prices are much cheaper but places like Vue are cheaper not to use the app if you go during the week. The app is simple to use and quick.
The only thing that really annoys me is not being able to hide or delete the codes you have used or even a tick box so you can say that you have used it already. I know the most recent purchase is as the top but I don’t need to see all my previous purchases. Please make is so they can be hidden or deleted.

Cool app
Love the app, very easy to use. Gave 4 stars because the only problem I find is if you but multiple tickets you can’t see which ones have been used already. Can you not update the app to show which tickets are used please. If you can then would happily give 5* rating. Thank you.

Really good in selecting the desired cinema and the tickets are displayed in a simple way. No hassle in logging in on the normal web or searching for the tickets when you just have a easy to use app! Amazing discount too, i save £7-£10 per purchase!
