When it works it’s ok but unstable and difficult to resolve basic issues
The app shows quite a lot of useful/interesting information but it’s really intolerant of quirks. If you reboot your router or the mesh reconfigures itself, the device is offline for a week until it decides to try again.
Users just want a reliable application that “just works”. IMO someone needs to start from a blank piece of paper and decide what the user wants to see and how to use it then create an app that does that. This app seems to have been created by developers who know all the details but cannot present it in a meaningful way to people who don’t (I’m a developer but acknowledge my weaknesses!).
Lots of the help screens/videos are in Chinese. Unfortunately my Chinese isn’t good enough to make them useful.
