Constantly being logged out
Logged out and forced password changes regularly. Doesn’t prompt password change just says it’s wrong then you have to say forgot password. Now it’s happened but it’s not letting me change password, there’s no help option in login so I’m just logged out. Stress.beemzy2404
Solís app
The app works good , however it is not really accurate, I think , it will be better soon or laterJazzeteria
Since updates in 2023 the app got user unfriendly
I started using the Solis app in 2022 and found it to be an excellent tool. The app’s simplicity and user-friendly interface made it a joy to use. Navigating through the features was straightforward, and it quickly became an integral part of my daily routine.
However, since the update in 2023, my experience with the Solis app has taken a downturn. The new version feels overly complicated and less intuitive. Features that were once easily accessible are now buried under several layers of menus. The design changes, intended to enhance functionality, have instead introduced a steep learning curve.
While the app still retains some of its original functionality, the user experience has significantly declined. The update has made it harder to perform simple tasks, leading to frustration. I hope the developers consider user feedback and make necessary adjustments to bring back the simplicity that made Solis so appealing in the first place.

Poor Real-time Display
For historical data this app is very useful, but the real-time display is inaccurate, as it only updates every 5-6 minutes (that’s minutes, not seconds!). You could have boiled the kettle when it updated and will continue to show you importing several kW for the next 5 minutes. It’s also inaccurate, as it seems to estimate the values, or more likely uses AI to predict what your data should be. It appears to update the app from data collected on their remote server, rather than data collected from the inverter. I have a Zappi EV charger, and get more accurate display from the MyEnergi app, which updates every few seconds. There are regular Solis app updates, and I keep hoping that the real-time display will be improved to reflect an app in the 21st century, but unfortunately Solis appear to be more interested in harvesting your data, rather than providing a true real-time display on the app.Show lessrdstewart
Too Slow - Still in 1990
The response time of reporting is at least an hour delayed. Which makes one feel like it’s an app from when there were No Gs, just E (even from before 2G). Sungrow is much better in reporting (instant).Sabc123456789
Cannot configure data logger Wifi mismatch
Inverter data logger has wifi network star lying with “Solis_ “ but the app only allows for networks that begins with “D_ “

Big Improvements !
This app has had several updates since I originally installed it in 2022. It lost its way a bit, but is now very rich in information layers that can be drilled down. Comprehensive (but busy) graphs, with nice full screen option (rotated). User customised reports but no option (yet) to store report ‘profiles’, so you have to reselect the fields required each time.
I miss the feature that clearly showed what % you were self-sufficient during the day.
Option (contact Customer Services) to set Solis inverter configuration remotely is a big advantage, especially if your inverter is not easily reached.
All in all, a well thought out app & recommended (4.5 stars).

Works well for me
Provides an accurate overview of inverter performance at any time with solar panels, batteries, house usage and grid feed in. This ties to the display on the inverter and you can see when kettles etc are being turned on.
Using the inverter setup via the app to manage overnight EV charging and tune the overnight battery charging so that it is ok with cold weather , doesn’t discharge into the EVs and doesn’t charge fully so gets topped up with solar in the day.
Great app, only question is around the data security and residency as if I can do all this from my phone then who else can do all this (nothing to do with app, more around the inverter data security)Show lessAssasination123
