Works well, frequently updated
The app is constantly improving and seems they are listening to user feedback when adding new features or fixing bugs. Has become much more usable over the last year. The new graph which shows battery SOC as well as load, is a great addition.
Yes there have been bugs that break functions, but these are usually fixed by another update in a few days.Show lessJimboHi
Huge Mistake!
I thought I’d check the latest reviews to see if I am the only one who thinks the latest App update is a huge step backwards … turns out, everyone agrees!
The original stacked bar-graph had all the data in one simple day/month/year column. It really helped us judge when to use our appliances with a genuine benefit to our consumption. I was annoyingly proud to show off what we were achieving - it even helped us prove our claim on Scottish Power (also rubbish btw)!
Now, the graphs are just unreadable and no help in managing our consumption. And what the hell is SOC (or did I miss the memo)?
We are moving house soon and plan to install solar when we arrive. As an almost direct result of this new version, we will be asking our installer not to use this system or anything that relies on it. Well done guys - you get the prize for the biggest step backward in app history!

Wifi bug?
The app was working well until it disconnected from our home wifi and now it wont reconnect, I just receive an error each time I try to reconnect. The support page is not in English. The info sheet doesn’t cover my issue. Please fix.crazymamma22
Worst solar app
You need to fix this app. Re-do this app from ground up. There is no information on how much my home is using and how much is flowing to the grid or incoming when solar is generating. The is not user friendly and looks very bland. Do something.Laleric
Improving but still some way to go
Better (more compact) power flow diagram although I would still prefer the daily totals on the diagram rather than having to switch to table view.
Still need to reduce data refresh time to less than 1 minute! This would increase the overall usefulness to all users I’m sure. If you really can’t reduce the 5 minute refresh period, then please darken the “Update x mins ago” text so it’s more easier to read.
I like the Daily view allowing a drill down into the key measures and the ability to scroll throughout the day is useful. It’s also very easy to move from here to the Month, Year and Total views.
Still having too many occasions where it says Load is zero and we all know there is always a ghost load.
Very useful to be able to set the inverter charge and discharge times through the app. Thanks.

Why carve out all the usefulness?
This update has destroyed the functionality of the app for a plant owner.
The totals have been removed from the plant flow graphic so it’s impossible to find out for example what the total consumption has been on a particular day unless you go to the monthly view and take a guess at a bar height.
Also you have removed the generation / consumption reporting graphics and data and replaced it with something completely unintelligible.
Please please please put the old version back up - I simply can’t manage my system with this version.Show lessUnsolisfied
Zooming of graphics
Please allow for two finger zooming of the graphics. They are impossible read as is = worthless. Or provide a “how to” for that. Also reinstall the input/output data on the three circle graphic. ThanksMitdrab
Concerning
The information display on this app isn’t terribly helpful, with the confusing 24 hour graphic. The monitoring could be useful, but some of the items don’t show the correct information, particularly on the cumulative data, and as it only updates about once every half hour, it’s not helpful for real time monitoring. Other than the battery level, I get much better information on everything from the Zappi.
Support is pretty good.
However -the real problem with Solis is security. Bitdefender throws up all sorts of alarms when accessing the Solis site. The recent SolisCloud update stopped my app working, and I have just discovered that it is now rejecting the vpn. A Chinese company that has threats built into its software and demands to monitor your data - what could go wrong?Show lessgeorgetherunner
Terrible update
The latest update is rubbish it’s overly busy and too hard to understand, it was fine before I don’t know why they constantly tweak it with each update and then revert back to the previous style everytime.TAB688
