Still going strong

My wife and myself have been playing Raid for 4 years now as FTP minus to odd purchase every few months. Still playing the game to date and my wife leads our clan with the help of myself and a couple of others as deputies.
Great game that is always coming up with new features and new champions.
This is my only game that I’ve played for longer than a couple of years. So it’s gotta be good.

5 Stars: Surprisingly Deep and Addictive Experience!

I’ve been playing Raid: Shadow Legends mostly as a free-to-play player, and it’s been a fantastic experience. The game has a lot to offer, from the thrill of summoning champions to the strategy of building a powerful team. Running my own clan has added a whole new layer of depth, with clan bosses and teamwork making it even more engaging. The referral links also make it easy to bring in friends and support each other.

One thing I love as an F2P player is that hard work and consistency truly pay off. If you’re dedicated, you can keep up without spending money, and that balance feels fair. The graphics are stunning, and the champion variety keeps it fresh. Thank you, Plarium, for creating such a fun and rewarding game! If you’re into strategy and enjoy games where effort counts, I’d highly recommend giving Raid a try—you won’t be disappointed!

Please! Enough with the non-stop ads!

I’ve been playing this game for over 3 years now & I still love it! I’ve bought quite a few offers during that time.. But I feel like u guys are pushing the offers/ads WAY too hard now.. Every time I try to do something in-game now it seems like I have to “x” out of an ad first to do it.. For example: I’ll be looking at my missions, then try to go to my heroes and bam! an ad/offers pops up.. I’ll “x” out of that offer, pull up my heroes for a sec, then try to go to my Campaign and up comes another ad/offer.. Then I’ll be looking at my Forge Pass and try to hit my Clan button but wait!! another ad/offer pops up first.. The WORST thing is when u “x” out of an ad/offer & ANOTHER ad/offer immediately pops up after that! Personally I think after you’ve spent a certain amount of money the ads should stop altogether unless we click on the Offer button ourselves.. We all know where it is by now.. But short of that maybe just make it every 5 minutes of gameplay an ad/offer pops up.. It’s just getting SO ANNOYING for them to pop up after every single action we do in gameplay.. I stopped playing a bunch of games because of the non-stop ads.. I really really don’t want to do that with this game too because I love it but it’s truly ruining my fun playing this game.. PLEASE PLEASE cut back on the nonstop ads/offers.. Thank you Plarium!

Great game

Played this game when it first came out and I only lasted a couple months, I restarted playing when wuukong became a free legendary, the visuals of his trailer got me hooked all over again. Now I’m playing every single day, currently 270 or 280 something days in. My one request is. Is there any chance we can get more free energy or even every specific day of the week, we get 24 hours of unlimited energy. I don’t care about paying for champs or leveling them up, if I can just do it using campaign and the free shards I get every week and every month. But my energy goes down so fast for every champ I level up to 60, I try keep my energy over 10k and never go past 5k but we don’t get much free energy promo codes or anything else anymore. That’s all. Great game, glad I started playing again

Honest quick review

Hi, I am extremely new to this game and haven’t been playing it for long (at all). I found this game through an app that promotes other games by allowing users to test games and get paid for it. That app is called testerup (for reference). First of all, one second into the game and I could already tell the graphics and game style was going to impress me. Well, it did. First of all, the graphics were amazing, I love the art style of this game. It really makes you interested in playing it and investigating other amazing factors of the game. Also, the voice actors did an amazing job. The audio you hear in this mobile game sounds extremely similar to audio you’d hear on a pc game or another console. The recorded audio following the background story is intriguing! Nothing is confusing in this game, there is a description for everything. Lastly, the game surprisingly takes up little storage. You would expect a high quality game like this to take up the same amount of storage that genshin impact does (A LOT) but it only takes up a minor amount of space on your phone. This is very essential and would give gamers/users more motivation to keep this game on their phone. Interesting game, I hope that the consistency is the same throughout. May come back with more opinions after I’ve fully investigated but so far an amazing game that deserves a lot of recognition!!

Your effort is mighty, theirs is a lie

Yes, you can easily spend hundreds of hours in this. I have. Drop a 3, 4, 5 hundred dollars then watch that mighty Arena team whose power is 420,000 power lose to a team with 165,000 — particularly if you have not spent any $ lately. Yes, I am 100% that the game tracks when and how you spend and when you don’t that it is programmed to gradually gimp your teams until you buy more. Try it. Buy something then watch your 200,000 power team rip 250,000 apart … for a day or so. Stop spending and you might as well chop off the arms and legs of your beautifully illustrated champions because on a programming level that is what is happening to them. For a game that obviously prides itself on being multi-dimensional and deep thinking as to every facet of a champion and, more so, a team of them, this grotesque, obvious ploy to bilk more $ out of you will assuredly bring you full stop as you realize all that time, effort and — avoid my error — money was wasted on what amounts to a crappy random number generation rather than the honed, elaborately outfitted champions you steadily jumped through hoop after hoop. Go shoot zombies and save your $ rather than believe these intricate matrices all of which are so easily undone when you are stupid enough to think 425,000 can beat 165,000 … go ahead, see whether your massive 425,000 gets stomped 2 out of three (it does). How about 3 out of 5? (All 5.) … just go home, pawn.

Response from developer

Hi! We're sorry to hear that 'RAID' has left you cold. All constructive feedback does get cycled back to our hardworking dev team; the game is always getting tweaked and improved. Hope that with the time you will change your mind about the game!

Love the game, great f2p if you like games like destiny 2

I have had a lot of fun with this game my only complaint is the very little diversity with shard summons and you can’t filter as must I love randomness to an extent but I’m attempting a sacred order only play through but something I also noticed is the lack of good healing supports in the sacred order faction the mythical champion being the absolute best option but that locks out a great healing option till the absolute end game I think to help the players there should be an option to use maybe a special shard or multiple of a kind of shard to better filter just a faction not just a certain character or character type like Attack or support I also want to better be able to interact with my friend in this game I also think there should be a way to inspect other players gear in PvP to see how good it is just seeing level and how many times they have been ranked up or ascended doesn’t give a great grasp of if you can win the battle this goes against Sun Tsu teaching “if you know yourself and know your enemy you should not fear the result of a thousand battles” how may I know if I’m sieging a walled city if I can not see what they are equipped with I also think drop rates for characters in the campaign should be higher
Thank you for your time- PenitentSeraph

Engaging and Beautiful

What a great game! There are lots of complex puzzles to solve and after playing for a couple of weeks you can access most of the game and start building a collection. The art work is amazing - the champions look so cool and the animations are top tier.

It is a grind and designed for you to play for 30-60 minutes a day. You’ll run out of energy so the game is really a resource management game - how can you get the most progress out of the little you have. But when you start learning the mechanics, wow it is engaging. The RNG is extremely annoying sometimes but that just makes it more rewarding when you get something you were hoping for.

Finally, let’s address the elephant in the room. The game aggressively monetises through microtransactions, although many of them aren’t “micro” at all. But there are NO ADS, and 99% of everything in the game can be done as free-to-play, it just takes a bit longer. The exception is the highest level of PVP which is such a small part of the game and not required at all.

Great game

Super good game. But I don’t like how hard it is to get the mastery scrolls. I mean like I know how to get them and stuff but I only get a few scrolls each time. So I spend 800 gems to get all the scrolls (that takes around a month saving). Other than that it’s a great game soooooo If you could change that it would make the game a whole lot better thanks :)

Don’t listen to reviews

Those who are saying you can’t play without paying are wrong. It takes more time f2p but it’s possible. I’ve played abt a year f2p and still having a great time. Just be patient and do your dailies and enjoy the game. Get to nightmare clan boss pretty easily and then it’s free yellow shards often. Save them up for a double drop weekend and you’ll have full yellow team in no time
