Little Light for Destiny User Reviews

Brilliant little app

I shouldn't say this but I prefer it to Bungies official app, it's so much cleaner and I love the randomise feature on weapons! Me and my close bit group of friends always do RNG pvp 😂 can't fault this app on bit. Ampleist- Xbox Hunter

Better than anything

I’ve used DIM, Ishtar, the companion, etc. Nothing compares! It is very smooth on the phone and it is packed with information. My favorite part is that it shows which specific encounter each of your characters has done in the raid this week. No more guessing with raid report! Everyone I have recommended it to has loved it.

Exceptional

Very reliable does the same job as the D2 also has some features which are unique ie you can create a loadout etc.

Wow!

Wanted a load out app for Destiny 2 and this came up in a search. I had seen mention of it on Reddit so thought I would give it a shot. Was using Ishtar Commander (no loadout option but the ability to transfer gear), but this is next level. Well done...

Best inventory manager out there.

This is by far the straight up best inventory management app I’ve ever used. I used to use Ishtar, but Little Light offers SO much more.
The one and only thing keeping me from giving this app 5 stars is the occasional delay when moving items... If you go too fast transferring it will catch a hitch and show weapons that aren’t there anymore until you refresh it. It’s definitely not a deal breaker, just have to pace yourself.

that's unfortunately a bungie API issue and nothing I have control over 🤷🏼‍♂️

FAVORITE app!!!

This app is single-handedly the reason I can actually make use of my Vault in Destiny. I love how clean the user interface is, and I love being being able to pre-plan god rolls from the collections tab. Plus being able to see the sources of things I don’t yet have makes getting around a lot faster.

(A small note: I love the “sort by” settings, and they seem to work perfectly for primary weapons, but I think there must be something up with the sorting for specials — primaries are sorted chronologically by the season the weapon came from, which is great! But it doesn’t look like I can get specials to do the same.)

hey I'm pretty sure the fact that those weapons are sorted chronologically is by accident. I don't have the info required to sort it like that.

Almost a full replacement

I pretty much use this for everything in D2 now. Only things I use other apps/sites for are integrated god roll searching instead of having to search every weapon. Would be cool to be able to set what I’d consider a god roll and search what I have based on that.

Not part of the review: Then there’s the collections. I love collecting but since I was on console for the first year and don’t want to lose all my progress and such from year 2 on pc, I’m missing a lot of stuff that just isn’t obtainable anymore. Would be cool if unobtainable items could be hidden altogether like on Braytech or if users could individually hide items from the collections via a toggle switch on the item details page or something.

The Best Mobile Item Manager for Destiny 2

This has been one of the best mobile item managers I have ever use for Destiny. From my experience it has the functionality DIM in an easy to use mobile app that is also clean looking and simple to use. I highly recommend this app!

Great app, but needs one crucial feature

I personally love this app. It’s amazing for item management in Destiny 2 as well as tracking pursuits and whatnot. If there’s one thing that this (and other companion apps) app needs though is the ability to select which tree within each subclass we want to equip in addition to selecting which subclass we’re equipping. Like, if I wanna set up a loadout for Shattered Throne, for example; I want to be able to not only select the Voidwalker subclass, but more specifically select the top tree of the Voidwalker subclass. Or, select Dawnblade, but more specifically, select middle tree for Well of Radiance instead of Daybreak. Just a thought. Otherwise, it’s an excellent app and I love using it. Feels so much more streamlined than the DIM and works so much faster than the Bungie companion app for Destiny 2.

Response from developer

lol I also wish that was possible. Unfortunately there is no way of equipping subclass trees using Bungie API ( it's a very requested feature by me and other devs, like the DIM team). If Bungie ever create a method for that I can assure you I will implement it.

Brilliant

Absolutely fantastic, great layout and so responsive. Much better than Ishtar and DIM. Both are good but this is on another level
