Leave a Review Fit Foods Coach
Good but expensive
It’s a good app but the database of foods seems to be on the small side for the monthly price. It can only return so many different matches so after a dozen or so searches you can start to get the gist of what will come up every time. Also I’m not sure how the matching algorithm works but it seems a little inconsistent. This is minor and I still think it’s a good app, but you can change only the amount of a food and it will return a different list of matches with different match percentages. I would be willing to pay not more than $5/month for this, $4 I think is about right, and if the database was to be expanded I would be willing to pay more.Show lessCouldn’t even use the app
Said it was a free download but couldn’t use it unless it was paid for after the initial download.Paid only
Will not even let you preview anything unless you subscribe at over $9 a month.
With so many free or preview-able apps, I decided not to pay just to see. 24 hour trail might have shown if worth it.Developer Response
I would be more than happy to help share information or a demo video of how the app works if you would like more information. We found many not utilizing the trial versions we had available when we launched. So we have since disabled the feature. If your looking for ideas of different foods to eat based on a given a specific food or a food substitution based on a macro nutrition program, we have gotten great feedback that users love our app. It is a database built and maintained by a trainer/nutritionist. This helps keep the integrity of the database of foods compared to other crowd sourced databases.
