Worst company ever!!

I tried getting a refund because it wouldn’t let me use the card.So I called them and they took a long time to answer. when they did they didn’t help and I tried getting back into my account and it didn’t let me don’t Don't waste your time or money on this!!!

Aggressive fee structure. Hard to activate.

I received an inactivity fee of $5.95 before I could even get the card activated because the process was a major pain, REQUIRED that I share all of my private information in non-secure ways (I shouldn’t have to email private documents or share my ssn over the phone— do better.), and be hand verified by a human being that clearly was not in the same country as me.

The fees for using the card and for maintaining the Card Account, including maintenance fees, are fully disclosed in the Cardholder Agreement that was included in the card packaging. The fee is automatically charged after 90 consecutive days of no activity. Also included in the packaging are details about the activation process. In order to be compliant with federal regulations, we are required to verify the identity of each account holder. This means that when you open a Card Account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and your government ID number. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying information. For assistance with the activation process, please email social@netspend.com.

Dont buy this card

Do not buy this card, I put it for my son and after we fixed the problem they told me that i could now only spend it online, and everytime I buy something it charges $1 and 50 cents. They also told me that I could pull out money out if the card anymore. It also didnt let me buy something on a app I wanted to use it on. DO NOT BUY THIS CARD

Reaching customer service

It really takes so long to get through the automated system to actually get a human on the telephone to help with an issue and then when you do reach someone you could get disconnected before the issue is resolved. I don’t know about this card if it’s worth actually putting money on it do use as a prepaid debit and it seems like mobile deposit is not even available even though it says it is

Horrible card

It ask you for your social security number and if you don’t give it to them it will hang up the call or on online it will say the card is invalid I constantly got taken to a page where I had to call a number

You will pay the price. This card has given me nothing but stress ans anxiety, my great moments of need and this card has always failed me. Get Venmo, PayPal cash app. Not this. You will regret it. APP ALWAYS CRASHES ALWAYS KICKS YOU OUT TAKES FOR EVER TO PULL UP YOUR BALANCE . I am surprised corporations ask you to get one. Customer care... what’s that?

Don’t buy there card

I would not recommend getting this card I’m stuck in Washington family emergency had to have money sent to me I left with nothing not even a wallet so I had to get a card this card they won’t release my money to me because they want proof of who I am wanting to send my money to me in a check to where I live I have my daughter with me we can’t buy food are what we need in this time talk to the person when i called to told me the store can give me the money back I drove in bad weather conditions not safe get there and told I can’t get my money it’s out there hands I sent what I could and still they want my social security card sent as I am not home only left with what I had next day for this emergency they don’t care about anyone they lie and tell you bull don’t get this card you will have nothing but trouble and in the worst part my life they make it that much worse and now my kid and me have to ask for family help to eat due to them not giving me my money they can send a check ok 6 business days to my address as I’m here in Washington DO NOT BUY THERE CARDS go elsewhere to save the problem

I can’t activate the card online,app,or even calling the number

Can’t activate the card! Waited 30 min on a call just to activate it and still nothing!

Just a waste of money

So I got this card today and put $20 on it just to figure out I need to activate it and to activate it you have to give your social security number which I don’t have at the moment so I can’t activate it and plus I don’t want to give away my info like that that’s how identify theft starts so yeah don’t recommend
