  • Very impressed

Been using this app for a while now and I am quite impressed by it. It does what it's meant to. The Apple pencil support is much better than a major competitor.

Two very minor suggestions that would be welcome are: email to journal, and the option of a daily writing prompt is useful sometimes. But these are just my own personal wishes.

The app really is worth it though as it currently stands. Thanks Devs, great job!

  • Free version is actually really cool!

i made sure to check the reviews for these apps as a lot of them seemed to have ripped off their users who had purchased the app prior to them launching subscriptions, and didnt see that in these reviews.

the free version is fun and functional! as long as the app maintains their integrity i dont see why i wouldnt upgrade in the future. would recommend to a friend.

  • Recommended Diary

I have been using Diarly for four years now. It is part of my daily froutine to recors something important (or not), ranting about people behind their backs, adding images occasionally. The fun part is to look back to random days in the past to see what I have done, how did I feel where I have been (joyful lunch with a friend or in a hospital bed....and in between).
Technically, Diraly is easy to use with a few glitches. The team is responive and correcting the occasional bugs. The sync function is usually perfect so that I can write from any of my computers.
    Thanks for this diary, Guys.
Note: I make redular PDF backups just in case they abandon the app like Apple dropped the ball on their image editing database (no Apple software on my computers any more).

Hello & Thank you for review.
  • Syncing across apps on different devices not working

I almost never write app reviews, but this app has truly been disappointing! I favored Diarly over Day One when I was picking an app to keep a diary for my toddler son because of the data security feature. And for the most part, Diarly and Day One seem to have the same main functions (Day One does have some more bells and whistles), and the most important one is syncing between different devices. I like to take pictures with my phone and may jot down some ideas on the phone which I will use my iPad to finish (so I can use a keyboard). However, it’s not working. I’ve tried contacting their support team when I was still in the 7 day free trial period, now the 7 days has passed, I never heard back, data is still not syncing and I have been charged with a year subscription. WORST experience!!!

  • So far so good

I am new to journaling. I am enjoying it so far. Seems intuitive enough. Didn't give a 5 star because this is only day two of using the app

Thanks for the feedback! Enjoy your journaling adventure! 🙌
  • Does what I need it to do

  • Great Journaling App

I wanted to start journaling again but for the first time I really wanted to try journaling with an app and the primary reason is that I have so many journals and no way of being able to track things to be able to see what I need to work on. This app is different from the others in the App Store, I decided to try it out and so far it has been a wonderful experience and I’m really glad that I decided to try it out because it is truly helping me to stay focused and to be consistent in my journaling the way that I was before my life got so busy. Thank You Diarly for a beautiful App. 😊

  • Excellent journal and notes app

Love this app. Just need bi-directional linking and it will be a PARA contender.

  • Great app

I downloaded app 5 days ago and so far it’s great. Easy to write in, enter pics in. Great for morning gratitude entries. Some great prompts to get you started. Hashtags to get you to your past entries.

Thank you for the review! ☺️
