Using the app to scan onto the bus is a hassle, and time consuming.
The app should set the background brightness to 100% so the code can be scanned on the first try.
Also the timer that limits how long the code is valid makes getting ready to board the bus complicated because you need to wait for the bus to be there or else the timer might run out.Show lessTolson26
Pointless
Doesn’t let you create an account unless your employer is part of the C-Pass? program. Thought the goal was to encourage people to ride the bus? Sorry, it’s 2018, I don’t carry exact change for a bus. Guess I’ll stick to driving or Uber, Lyft, and the scooters.Dan1394
Doesn’t work
Downloaded it today to buy passes, but it won’t let me do anything. I tried to create an account, but since my employer doesn’t participate in the C-Pass program I couldn’t register. So all this app is apparently good for is getting alerts and contacting COTA.mrw1975
Simply does not work.

Good Start, But Needs Work
Finally there’s a way to board a COTA bus electronically. But this app needs some work.
First it is slow to launch and generate a cpass code to be scanned. When people are waiting this can be frustrating.
Second the app is not optimized for iPhone X screens.
Third passes should integrate into Apple wallet.
