  • Possibly a great product…

Seems to be a really good system but let’s itself down with little or no guidance notes or easy to follow instructions that can be followed by the domestic user. I’ve slowly got the system up and running but still have basic requirements which I know the system is easily capable of but no instructions or intuitive UI to be able to do it.

  • Full-screen view is unstable

Latest update destroys persistent full-screen viewing on iPad. Viewing a camera used to allow a persistent selection of full-screen, or shrunk with scrolling of timeline. Now, full-screen has to be selected each time ANY camera is selected, as if someone in the dev team thought that we’d finally drop the desire to view full-screen if it was made hard enough. Come on! This is seriously regressive.

  • Years later, no widget???

I've had Ubiquiti stuff in my home (and apartments before) for years now. Love their APs. Like their other products.

I do love their camera systems too. They're a bit pricey upfront, but they give you what I wanted personally which was ability to easily locally record, view, save, footage from my sec cameras. They do this wonderfully!

    I'd give the cameras 5/5

I give the iOS app 4/5 because of a simple reason: WHY ISNT THERE A WIDGET??? Please? Pretty please?

I want a widget that I can add and see not-live, but maybe every 10s one frame updates from the cams. The way cameras work in Apple Home. But in a widget. I know this can be done because I do it currently! But i must use a 3rd party OS (home assistant OS) and 3rd party plugins. An imperfect solution dependent on a 3rd party private individual who could stop development at any point. A 1st party solution is preferable here!

Speaking of Apple Home... it would be nice if these were directly integratabtle with that system. I understand "it's Apple" probably (it usually is), so that's why I ask for a widget.

    Please. Please!
