Helpful tool
This app really helped visualizing paint mixes for scale models, it even has the popular paint brands built in, thou you might have to upgrade, I had to upgrade for access to GSI paints. But it’s worth the upgrade. It isn’t perfect, but gets a good base line so you aren’t wasting paints. My only complaint is that you can’t save mixes in the colour library under My Colours for easier sorting for future, although even in the saved mixes it’s great for noting mixes you’ll likely use in the future.Show lessuar99
Don't be discouraged by negative reviews
I usually scroll by if an app doesn't have 4.5+ stars. I almost did that with this app, but I'm so glad I didn't. It has so many useful features to better understand color, color relationships and paint mixing. This app is invaluable for artists, painters, photographers, cake decorators, designers, students and just anyone who wants to learn more about how colors relate. Try it out. Barely Usabale
I bought this to get access to the custom mix/unmix feature.
When unmixing a color, it requires you to pick 4 colors from your library. This may result in weird combinations or not a complete match at all.
I have hundreds of colors in my library and I would rather the app be able to choose the best colors in it to come up with the least combinations to achieve the target color.
The color picker using the image selector is also barely usable. Pinching and other gestures don’t seem to register correctly, intermittently at best. Picking the desired color in an image is almost unusable because it just so hard to get the target circle in the correct zoom level and position.
This app has a lot of potential, specially with the added hobby colors.
Suggestions, in addition to the mix and color pick issues above:
1. Please add the ability to add the entire hobby color range, or multiple brand ranges, as unmix colors. I can always go out and buy the missing colors if it helps get a better mix.
2. Add Ammo by Mig and Citadel to the color library. There are a lot of other brands, but with these two you will have a larger percentage of the market.
3. Please fix your website. The domain ideamats.com is parked and users have no way to ask for your support, other than writing a review.Show lessXentium
Great app, purchase version crashes after latest update
iPhone XR on iOS 13.5.1, app ran great before the update for this app. Now the free version runs fine, paid version fails to start (wish I hadn’t paid for it.)jshirks

I got it so I could see the colors my bunny can, it would be cool if you poor one of those square color pickers on because I don’t know a lot about the numbers of colors but it we count pick one from the color picker it be even cooler.Emmah461
Missing separation for RGB / CMYK
App itself is exactly what I was looking for, it has no analogs in appstore! However, as someone who would use it for breaking down the color for basic colors- I would want to be able to choose between RGB / CMYK or if I want to use both.

Very good App for Oil Painting!
I use this app to understand mixing oil paints. It’s extremely useless and you will learn from using it. Even if you have too much paint left over, you can use the app to see how to change from one color to another with exactly percentage to use to convert.
