Bag Drop was not open
I booked a bag drop in Castellamare Italy, advertising 24/7 access, and when I walked accross the city early morning with a tight timeline to get a ferry, the location was closed. I was stranded with my bag.
Then, Nannybag team failed to respond to me on the day, so I struggled allot to find a location to drop my bags.
Nannybag auto-responded with a 4-day turnaround to respond to my urgent situation.
They took my money on the day, and failed to deliver.

Worked in France and NYC
But in NYC it didn’t show the locations on a map. Had to cycle through one by one to find the best location. Still, it works.
Bags Left Unattended
I found Nannybag via a Google Maps search for "luggage storage". There was no visible signage, and I had to pay in the app to confirm the address. The "nanny" at my preferred location was up two flights of stairs, didn't speak a lot of English, and didn't seem familiar with the app. When I showed him the confirmation on my phone, he agreed to take the bags and contact his manager. When I returned a few hours later, the bags had been left unattended in the public stairwell and the attendant was nowhere to be found. Fortunately nothing of ours was taken and nothing illicit was hidden inside (we unpacked everything to check), but it was still an overall confusing, stressful, and risky experience.

DO NOT USE
I decided to try this for a 2 week trip from my study abroad. I didn’t want to lug around my bigger bags all that time.
THIS IS A SCAM! MY NANNY NEVER SHOWED UP TO THE LOCATION AND THE ADDRESS WAS A PERMANENTLY CLOSED RESTAURANT. DO NOT USE!
Not only that, but my €200 hasn’t been refunded.

Apple Pay didn’t work with my multi-currency card, just annoying.
Do not recommend
I definitely don’t recommend this service or app - On a trip to Mexico City I booked a place to drop off my bags through Nannybag. When I arrived the very kind but confused man who owned the store said he does not work with Nannybag, but he does work with another luggage storage service called Bounce. We had to book with that service instead, and during all the confusion I sent messages to Nannybag asking for clarification and for a refund since they sent me to a location that doesn’t work with them, and no one responded. Currently they still have not responded to my messages or given me a refund. I definitely won’t be using it again.

Useless
We booked 4 bags in and when we turned up to our location, it didn’t exist! We spent ages searching the nearby area and there was no location to drop our bags in. We tried to contact them countless times with no luck in many different ways. Wasted our money and had to use a different company.
Hard to navigate if senior citizen
Need to do on cell phone. Get the app first.
Cheap, reliable option
Great service. Left case for 4 hours in Naples for just €6. Much better than another app we had been trying to use. Very happy.
