I am sorry you are disappointed by the app and surprised of it being called a rip-off, because - at least based on the definition on Wikipedia - this would require a financial transaction. But from what I understand, you didn't buy the pro version, but were using the free version. I would never take away a Pro version feature from a user who supported me with buying the Pro version. And this was the first time - after 6 years that the app is available now - that I made a free feature to a Pro feature. And in exchange, I added a new free feature available to all users: the time zone selection. I always try to keep the core feature set of the app free, but please understand that I am a solo app developer and doing this is is my job, I need to make a living off of it. Without the Pro version upgrade, I wouldn't be able to do so.
