Driver stole order
Placed a delivery order through the app. The app apparently uses DoorDash as the courier service. The app updated to say that the order was ready, and that the driver was on their way to pick it up. The app then immediately updated to ‘completed’ despite it obviously not having been delivered, and there is no functionality within the app to contact anyone about the order. They then sent me tracking data in an SMS, and I watched the delivery driver arrive to pick up the order, and then just not move for over half an hour. It then reset itself and listed a different delivery driver, and then a hour after the order was first placed, it updated to ‘cancelled’, with absolutely no pathway to recover the money that I had already paid for the order.

Terrible App
You can't earn points, I've used this multiple times and where it should say how many points earned for this transaction it says 0. You can't spend said earned points, there is no option to even though I have over 9k. You should have a barcode on the app and a scanner in the restaurants so you can earn points without having to order via the app. All in all; it's a really terribly functioning app.

Seriously poor attempt at an app
This is a terrible app. The menu is impossible to navigate, I couldn’t even manage to find banh mi!
But the absolute worst thing about this app and the Roll’d website is that if you change your phone number you can never ever use the site again. That’s it. They’re done with you.

Choosing sauces is a bit slow and can’t see loyalty option
It seems if you want to add different sauces with your soldiers you need to order each soldier individually and add the sauce. Would be nice if there’s an option where if you’ve selected 2 x whatever soldier that you can select each sauce on the one screen instead of having to add soldiers one by one.
Also the loyalty program seems a bit unclear in the app. You can earn points but an option to use them is not clear or non-existent.

Rice paper roll was not available during pick up
Ordered rice paper roll for the first time via app during lunch hour 1pm (Garlic Prawn, Soft-shell crab, and Pork & Prawn) only to be told by staff that soft-shell crab and pork & prawn was not available. Those options that are NOT available on the app menu should be removed in advance. Since I already paid for it, I was forced to choose other options that I dont like. Disappointing.

Bad app
I’ve ordered via this app both pickup and delivery - neither work.
Pickup: Both times I ordered pickup, I had a 5-10 min walk to get to the store. Both times upon arriving, the store was reasonably quiet yet my order hadn’t been started, let alone taken by the kitchen. It rendered the entire thing useless and I basically just had to order from the counter.
Delivery: Years later I ordered delivery with my partner. We set the delivery window to ASAP (30-60mins). After an hour the kitchen still hadn’t accepted our order - in other words, they hadn’t even started the order. There was no way to call the store, no way to lodge an urgent issue with the app. We had to file a formal complaint and file a claim with our bank. Two days later the app notified us that our order had been taken by the kitchen, and would be delivered soon. My partner had to call around a bunch of numbers to try and get the order cancelled so as not to waste everyone’s time/waste food.
Yeah pretty awful guys.

Don’t bother
The app is clunky to use. If you do pick up, you have to select a time that’s much later than if you just went in and ordered at the counter. Then when you finally put your order through it gets rejected for no apparent reason.
I waited until the selected order time passed before asking where my order was as I hadn’t even gotten a notification that it was being processed. As I was asking, a notification that my in app order was rejected. Thank goodness the money doesn’t seem to have gone out of my account.

No ability to report issues with order
App needs the ability to report issues with your order. There have been a few times I have picked up my order and not noticed that it’s missing something, but there’s no way to report it. Otherwise works well, but has stopped accumulating rewards points.
Murdoch University Branch
I arrived and couldn’t access the building even though the branch was still open. I found a side door with and Uber delivery driver waiting for a pickup. I was then told I needed to order via Uber Eats even though I was standing right there. I pointed the irony out to them, they went to check with the manger and can bath to say I could order in person as it was after 20:30. It was 20:41. The store closes at 21:00. Poor form. Just thought head office should know what this licensee up to on a Sunday evening. I won’t be back.

The points no longer work
I have placed multiple large orders since April 2021 and NONE of my loyalty points have been added to my account. My card number is there and attached so it’s not an issue on my end. I can see I’ve placed the orders but they have a +0 points next to them. Pretty disappointing as I used to use this restaurant for large catering orders but no longer do so due to either the app not logging them or the restaurant being sneaky and not rewarding them.
