This app is even better on the 16 Pro Max
I can’t believe how good this app is for a free app. I first used it on my iPhone 12 Pro Max and the scans were good. Not great, but good. They did room scans better than detailed small objects. You usually had to go into an app like Blender to clean up the geometry. But now I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max and I did a scan in low light and it is the best scan I’ve ever done. The writing isn’t all crystal clear, but again, this is free app. The image was so clear even the measurements were correct on it. Sometimes with the lower quality camera on the 12, low light scans and small objects bellow 50cm start to get highly distorted and require better technique and multiple attempts. This app also out-performed Reality Scan on the cloud processing as it has been an hour now and reality scan is still processing.
I am going to rescan some of my scans from the 12 Pro Max scans to see how much more improved the scans can be!
This app is very cool and if you are on the fence, download it and try it out. You really have nothing to lose for the time you put into it. I highly recommend it for 16 and 15 pro cameras.

Brilliant really handy, hopefully developers consider few thoughts I had
Very good, there is potential here to take it to a much wider base of users, as been testing it to scan pits and pipes, even a box culvert then connecting pipe to a gully pit. Very impressive. Makes decent scans in hard to get places with out time consuming gear when basically being able to verify a pit and pipe dimensions , and other features it has. Here’s where I think you could have a larger market for it, locators and surveyors as it’s a hand tool just using the app and a suitable phone, I would be happy for a paid version. Question does it only use selfie camera or can set it use the main cameras on the ph which have better resolution. The 2 industries I mention could be a huge user base, they not after hi end millimetre stuff, just another tool in every day situations. I scanned a pipe in a truck a vac truck did and measured the OD of the pipe, and a manhole truly impressive, hopefully you consider a paid version as I would love to support the app & developers, regards lg.

Phenomenal App
Easy to use. Fast. Versatile across different apple phones. 3d model processing by images is extremely accurate. Very intuitive. Just awesome overall.
