Fun but buggy!!
I love this game and always have since 2017. I remember playing it with my siblings and it was a lot of fun. However, now that I’ve started playing it my phone freezes and I can’t play. This has been happening since the beginning except sometimes I could play but it would freeze in the middle of my game. Brings me back to my college days!
This game will always hold a special place in my heart. I played this daily for hours on end back nearly ten years ago now. Glad to see it’s still sticking around! Might have to reinstall the app and play some rounds haha
Also, to the smooth brains who think among us came first: this game came out in 2014. Among us came out like.. 2 years ago? Both are unique games and arent copying the other… but town of Salem was first ;)Show lessCalPapone
Store won’t work
Town of Salem is one of my favourite games ever. I love murder mystery games that are easy to play. However, like the title says, I tried to buy the premium and coven pack as well as just mobile premium. It sends the request to the game’s servers. I get a notification that I should get it soon and to recognize if I don’t. I tried this around 5 times over the past, like, 5 days. I still haven’t gotten the expansion. Again, really love the game but would love to be able to play without ads or play on coven without having to wait for the free tickets.Show lessNateWeazley
Constant crashes and disconnects
Please fix the fact that the game likes to crash EVERY TIME I have nearly won, 3 times in a row now I have literally gotten to the end of the game and then it crashes before the day starts so I don’t get the WIN screen, it’s pointless watching adverts constantly or paying just for the game to crash every time you’re about to win but then works perfectly fine when we lose. Other than the crashes, I had always enjoyed ToS when I played on the PC.
edit: fix disconnections, multiple times i have switched from using wifi to data mid game and the game doesn’t let you carry on because of this, makes it very difficult especially if your wifi doesn’t have the strongest connectionShow lessWLK08
Unfair but a good game to play
I feel like this needs to be said
People who play on computer has a much bigger variety of things they can type other than mobile.
For example they can use “ and ‘ which just makes it easy to point out.
Another reason they have a much faster typing speed, which makes it unfair to people who have to type something and it take longer and then the town accuses you of 1. Being a bad player. 2. Throwing. Or 3. They don’t believe you at all and so you get lynched.
Pc always has some advantage over mobile and console players, and that’s never gonna change. But at least fix the gosh darned system of being able to type with quotes, because if you try to copy and paste quotes, it doesn’t work.

Another Money Grab from BMG
First of all, look into Crowfall and how nearly everybody says it’s P2W. That’s the first red flag.
Anybody that has spent time on this game knows how awful the community is. There is an exceptional amount of trolls and toxic players. These players simply make a new account as soon as their old one gets banned. Even if there’s solid proof that they’re the same person, the devs won’t do anything about it because they get money from them in the long run.
Moreover, the game is basically dead. The amount of players online has been falsified on numerous occasions which can easily be figured out by joining various lobbies and seeing that only 3-4 game modes fill unless you go out of your way to recruit players. This game could’ve been much more than the dump they created over time, it was actually decent near release. This was the best Mafia/Werewolf go-to after Epicmafia went down, but even then it was sub-par on so many levels.
Don’t support this game, nor the creators imho. Save your time, energy and mental health for something that’s at least more enjoyable.Show lessDeseran
Great game but the player base renders it almost unusable now
I played this game a bunch back in 2018 and it was great, I used to play for hours but coming back to it in 2022 and now it’s just a bunch of kids throwing tantrums and randomly lynching people while yelling obscenities. I rarely advocate for making paywalls but the amount of children in a moderately complex strategy game just tanks the experience for users actually trying to play the game. Maybe I’ll invest in coven but after playing 3 games and getting screamed at by 9 year olds I don’t really think I’ll bother. The App is a SCAM
I had been playing Town of Salem for years, starting out on my old laptop. It works perfectly fine on PC, how it is supposed to run, but the app is just a way for them to earn revenue. I made the first account ever on my phone, and got the notification 'this IP has been banned due to previous abuse. Please buy premium or wait until the restriction ends'. I had played one game, and definitely hadn't broken any rules. None of my old ToS accounts had ever gotten in trouble. Fast forward to yesterday, where I'm explaining this game to my friend and convincing him to download it as he had never heard of it before. I get the same notification (it had been over a year at least), and convince him to just try it on his own. He also gets that notification. How is it that he is banned due to previous abuse when he had never even heard of the app? It just seems like a way to get revenue and convince people to buy premium. I honestly would have bought premium had it not felt forced. Now I will be telling everyone to just download similar games as Town of Salem has turned to trash.Show lessA User Concerned for Safety
