Great game
Never gets old
Another Money Grab from BMG
First of all, look into Crowfall and how nearly everybody says it’s P2W. That’s the first red flag.
Anybody that has spent time on this game knows how awful the community is. There is an exceptional amount of trolls and toxic players. These players simply make a new account as soon as their old one gets banned. Even if there’s solid proof that they’re the same person, the devs won’t do anything about it because they get money from them in the long run.
Moreover, the game is basically dead. The amount of players online has been falsified on numerous occasions which can easily be figured out by joining various lobbies and seeing that only 3-4 game modes fill unless you go out of your way to recruit players. This game could’ve been much more than the dump they created over time, it was actually decent near release. This was the best Mafia/Werewolf go-to after Epicmafia went down, but even then it was sub-par on so many levels.
Don’t support this game, nor the creators imho. Save your time, energy and mental health for something that’s at least more enjoyable.

Great game but the player base renders it almost unusable now
I played this game a bunch back in 2018 and it was great, I used to play for hours but coming back to it in 2022 and now it’s just a bunch of kids throwing tantrums and randomly lynching people while yelling obscenities. I rarely advocate for making paywalls but the amount of children in a moderately complex strategy game just tanks the experience for users actually trying to play the game. Maybe I’ll invest in coven but after playing 3 games and getting screamed at by 9 year olds I don’t really think I’ll bother. It’s a shame because it’s a neat (and formerly fun) concept.

The App is a SCAM
I had been playing Town of Salem for years, starting out on my old laptop. It works perfectly fine on PC, how it is supposed to run, but the app is just a way for them to earn revenue. I made the first account ever on my phone, and got the notification 'this IP has been banned due to previous abuse. Please buy premium or wait until the restriction ends'. I had played one game, and definitely hadn't broken any rules. None of my old ToS accounts had ever gotten in trouble. Fast forward to yesterday, where I'm explaining this game to my friend and convincing him to download it as he had never heard of it before. I get the same notification (it had been over a year at least), and convince him to just try it on his own. He also gets that notification. How is it that he is banned due to previous abuse when he had never even heard of the app? It just seems like a way to get revenue and convince people to buy premium. I honestly would have bought premium had it not felt forced. Now I will be telling everyone to just download similar games as Town of Salem has turned to trash.

Ok here so imma debunk some bad reviews here
1. Not free
k so the reason the developers made the game need money to play is because of a bot problem people would send in bots to practically ruin the game
2. Copy of among us
There are no bad reviews of this but just to make this clear this game was made 5 years ago so if anyone is confused town of Salam is not a rip off of among us
3. Crashes
Idk what to do if your device is old that may be the problem I have never seen a crash on my device
4. Rude players
So if anyone is being toxic racist or spamming simply kill them if you are a killer ignore them with the ignore button and if it is really bad report them

Amazing game, OK design.
I tried to buy the mobile/coven expansion and did, but after I did it told me that it would verify in app. It never did. I never got what I payed for:(
Can’t play. Like, at all.
Title says it all. On the mobile application, the ads don’t load, therefore I cannot play unless I pay for the mobile premium version.
As a long-term player of ToS (played around years ago when it was free), I know it’s a great game. It’s just the mobile app that simply doesn’t work. Please fix it, this used to be a great game.

Impossible to login from a steam account
Just save your time and play another play do not waste your money they don’t even allow a steam or Facebook login and you have to go search for it
I don’t get the bad reviews
A lot of bad reviews but they don’t make sense. It costs 5 dollars to pay but you can play for free if you watch an add each time. Tbh it’s better to play on browser or steam but on phone it’s not bad. Only 5 dollars for the main game and 5 for the dlc type game modes
Another thing that people say is that the game crashes but it has not happened to me once after playing a lot. Possible that it is an old bug

Great game overall
The game runs smoothly on all devices, Overall the lobbies are very active and have a lot of people chatting which makes the game much more fun, The game is 100% better than amongus which I was never a huge fan of. This game has a lot of strategy to it one wrong move me and you’re out. While this is the case it’s also extremely fun and leaves you on the edge of the seat every night. I’m surprised to see the rating lower than I would of imagined, If there’s anything on the negative side is that the game haven’t received a update in over 4 months as of writing this, But the game is perfecto 10/10. Great Job developers!
