Works Perfectly
From plugging the device in and connecting to Bluetooth on my phone, it took all of 30 seconds. The device works flawlessly for me without any connectivity issues like others have reported here. While I also think an Apple Car Play App would be awesome, I generally have my navigation on my cars screen and the Echo app on my phone so I’m not knocking a star off for this because it’s my preferred setup. I’m very pleased with how well the device and app work together and am confused by the bad reviews. Perhaps the bad reviews are from defective units? We all know that those that have a gripe are much more likely to write a review than those that are pleased with a product. Consider me an exception, I’m very happy with my purchase.Show lessChris MPLS

Works great just wish they would do an update for when you turn on a signal light the brakes won’t apply64!.&.8,
Before App update this was a great product
Before this app received an update I could not talking about how great this product was. After the update it has become useless and dangerous to use. Please use EXTREME CAUTION using this product until they correct the issues.pacjm
Was great now won’t work at all.
Last update causing constant error when attempting to connect to controller via Bluetooth. Constantly attempts to get me to reconnect. It wasn’t broke so someone had to break it. Nice work!VT-Renegade
From great to useless
First this was nothing short of amazing but I’m guessing the latest update has completely screwed it up, Brakes are stuck on, had to delete and download app again to even move trailer, but still blue circle fully lit 360 degrees all the time but brakes not on, changing settings made no difference, if something works just leave it alone...why?Show lessaabrv

Easy way of getting a brake controller without hardwiring something to your vehicle.

Not ready for prime time
At the time seemed like a great solution to avoid a traditional brake controller for my euro suv. Did work really well at first, but the app updates ruined it. The controller now continuously is charging the brakes that causes the trailer to drag and the battery to discharge. Last time I used it the discharge killed the vehicle, this was towing a load that previously was no problem. Too risky, go with a typical controllerShow lesswasatchdirtrider
Pretty stupid out the brake controller applies the brakes when you’re not even break
