Is it a blimp? No. A plane? No. A bird? Why yes! We have a brand-new badge available: Newsy Pigeon! You can collect this badge by sharing Mighty newsletters — we have six to choose from — and help more people discover tips, tricks, and stories about the health conditions they care about. Visit your profile to learn more about how you can earn it. This release also includes bug fixes and improvements.

Introducing badges on The Mighty! We’ve heard time and time again how many people seek out our Mighty community as part of their support system and self-care routine. It’s time we repaid the favor, don’t you think? These badges are our way to celebrate you (and have you celebrate yourself, too). Our first badge, Friendship Fish, encourages you to support other Mighty members by commenting on their posts. The cute Creature of Habit badge can be collected based on how many days in a row you visit The Mighty. We hope you find these badges as delightful as we do! This release also includes bug fixes and improvements.

We have updated our user profiles with a new look and feel! We’re now giving you more ways to help other members get to know you, while also making some improvements for privacy. Some of the changes include: - New “get-to-know-me” prompts: These prompts are designed to give your profile more customization, and are a unique way to share your health story and hobbies with the community. Our hope is that they’ll help other like-minded members find and connect with you! - Pronouns: This new field is completely optional and can be added to your profile if you’d like. - New sort and filter functions for your Mighty posts: Trying to find a specific post or comment you made? You can now sort by oldest to newest (or newest to oldest) and filter by post type to find old conversations more easily. - Following tab: This is always private — only visible to you — and puts all the topics you follow, groups you are a member of, Mighty members you follow, and other Mighty members who follow you, all in one convenient spot. - Edit Profile: A new, streamlined way to edit what appears on your profile, what is visible to other Mighty members, and a one-stop shop to fill out your bio and prompts (all optional). - Preview Public Profile: Want a behind-the-scenes peek at what other Mighty members can see on your profile? Our new Preview Public Profile function allows you to see their view and ensure anything you’ve made private doesn’t appear publicly. This release also includes bug fixes and improvements.

  • When I’m Here

So I love this group, when I’m not overwhelmed by the number of emails received each day. I flag some Mighty emails with links I should read, then a week goes by, I’ve not looked at any of them because every time I pic up my phone to read, I fall asleep. Then I’m overwhelmed and depressed and delete them all. The “We Laugh So We Don’t Cry” article is SO ME I couldn’t pass it up. THIS is how I deal and my daughter too. The “ 22 Memes That Might Make You Laugh If You Use Dark Humor to Cope With Mental Illness (The Mighty) could not be more SPOT ON! I should enter the app more but most days I just don’t have the energy to read and filter thru how my life relates to various articles or posts is just too much. However when I am here it is awesome. I’ve shared the app with my daughter and my Son’s PDN RN.
  • Love this app but…

I love this app to my bottom of my heart but the only thing needs improvement is having an edit feature when it comes to our thoughts/questions and even in the comments section too. I hate feeling like I’m forced to delete my thoughts or comments and write a new one even though I could edit it instead.
  • Thanks for the space for people like me to open up

This is a friendly forum so far for people like myself who’s not a good candidate for traditional group therapy to share my feelings and learn to emphasize. I have a problem with showing my affect because I was diagnosed with Asperger Disorder ( Autism. Spectrum Disorder) N.O.S. as an adult. Because of my early diagnosis with clinical depression and ADHD and with near genius I Q while heavily sedated in an a private hospital. I had to work extremely hard to over compensate. When I found out that I had A.S.D. at the age of 41, that flew me on a loop! I was so lost and and had to re train my own brain! That was after a mini stroke, multiple concussions , heart failure, and cancer ( tumor on my spinal cord after spinal surgery). Thank you.
