So I got this for my wand super exited. I had seen some reviews saying it wasn’t the best I thought it didn’t apply to me because I had a iPad Pro. I got the app and started doing it but then when I would be working on a challenge the next buttons wouldn’t work and it would just freeze up so I would have to close the app and open it again. Cannot create new account
I bought the wand for my daughters birthday. We downloaded the app only to discover an error message on the user account creation page stating the Kano server could not be reached, and to check internet connection. There is no problem with our internet connection. Without the app the wand is useless and is being returned. Contacted customer service and they said they were working on it.Show lessI'm that guy!
I LOVE IT
I absolutely love this game. I am so addicted and you should try it out. But I have some suggestions. You should add a mode for people who don’t have a wand but want to play. There should also be more coding options. It should also have events to unlock new clothing, levels, and even backgrounds. I also want like an interactive world like Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. And can you add an AR mode pls listen to my suggestions. And before I wrap this up pls fix this bug when I write the description my backspace does not work. Poor Quality / Buggy
All right Kano I’m going to unleash a bit here because over the years I’ve spent a lot of money on you and you have consistently disappointed. Your software QA is horrible. And frankly, when kids apps are concerned, this is unforgivable. We are trying to provide learning tools for our kids, but when they break, when kids lose their work, when the UX is broken or buggy, they go back to playing Minecraft or watching YouTube.
Don't get me started about the brokenness that is KanoOS - which it seems you’ve abandoned along with your hardware platform for all us poor suckers that payed $300 for basically a RaspberryPI 2.
Where do I go to log the myriad bugs I have encountered in your app, within the first hour of use? Crappy gesture recognition, soft keyboard whose delete key doesn’t even work (why are not you using the one that comes with the iOS SDK??), crashes, blocks that get stuck in limbo, delays on triggering sound samples... UI that doesn’t refresh upon rescale (+/-), and just a crappy overall UX.
Take a cue from the BBC Micro:bit app if you want an example of a blocks-based iOS coding environment that just works.
I’m Canadian so I’m going to say “sorry” for the above diatribe, but given that you are not providing an SDK or API to your coding wand, those of us that shelled out $100 are stuck with your app that clearly has not enjoyed enough QA and user testing.
I will definitely return to this review upon updates and if things get better, I’ll revise. I WANT to like your products, I really do. Stop wasting time with online communities and making people register online to use hardware and software they already paid for, and concentrate on some good unit and regression testing.Show lessArt Science

2. Make it to where you can write a description about yourself
3. Make it to where you can chat privately with someone
4. Make it to where you can like or dislike someone’s comment
5. Make it to where you can pin a comment so it stays at the top.

Sound does not work on iPad.
Speaker: play produces no sound. It is frustrating to see the demo clips with sound and not have it. Instead of enjoying birthday present spent time looking for some setting or something.Skn913krn
Cool, but the wand is a little funky 😑

Can’t even get an account setup
I’ve downloaded this game on 2 different tablets, from the Google Play and Apple AppStore and neither version let me set up an account! Couldn’t get passed the Adult name and email page. Hitting Done did nothing! All excitement of using a magic wand after Xmas is out the window!PocketPair77
