Had a bit of a delay getting registered, but following a quick email all was sorted. Since then it’s been smooth sailing
REAL TALK
The app is great... if you get on it first. I’ve seen reviews about how hard it is, but doesn’t that also speak as to how BoT is loyal to the baristas it has already, they’re not gonna kick someone off just to replace them with someone better. I can sense they clearly feel the barista crew is strong. I am also aware as a barista how competitive it is now so i’m not losing this little golden position i have as part of the team. Simply be patient, or prove that you’re better than the other ‘head baristas with over 5 years experience, latte art specialist coffee drinkers’ (i’m sorry i managed to get on the app before it blew up, but i’m super grateful for not being replaced by someone more skilled than me, when i’m doing a great enough job. It’s sad to see these kinda reviews based on NOT GETTING ON. bro, just get better at applying... It’s not the high standards, it’s the people you’re competing with have the same qualifications maybe. idk. it’s just a dope app if you get on. I’m sorry to those finding it hard to get on, but clearly a thousand other people do, so don’t take it the wrong way, just apply when you have something else to separate yourself.

Application got rejected after I have 5 years experience dealing with coffee.
From latte art, to dialling in grinders, making recipes, changing burrs, v60 making, espresso making - all of this apparently isn’t good enough and my application got rejected.
No response via email anymore.

Waste of time
As a barista with over 5 years’ experience I was excited to use this app only to be told I don’t fit the criteria and my 5 years’ as head barista isn’t experienced enough. A complete waste of time and not sure how anyone can get on this app with their completely over the top standards.
I can’t register my new account
I can’t still rate the app as it is stuck into the Application under review screen... also forwarded my CV by email almost a couple of months ago and I still haven’t anything back yet... I’ve checked my spam folder also but nothing...
