Pricing Manipulation
I set up a subscription and was given an annual cost. It specifically stated “per year”. After paying the annual fee I was reviewing my account settings and saw the annual fee had doubled for the next renewal date. I reached out to customer service, Marcia is who I got to be exact. Not only did she read and ignore some of my messages forcing me to keep following up, I was basically told oh well they’re not honoring what it said at checkout. I provided a screenshot showing that at checkout it clearly stated “per year” and to double that is misleading and not the authorized purchase amount. They didn’t care. I told them to refund my subscription, I’m not doing business with a company that thinks behavior like that is ok.

We're sorry to hear our subscription model caused you confusion. It looks like you signed up using a 50% off discount. Your membership for the next year was reflective of our standard subscription price without the promotional discount. We reviewed your chat with Marcia and it looks like she was able to issue a full refund for you. Because your request was made after the terms outlined in our refund policy, your concerns were escalated, and a refund had to be approved.
