  • Entertaining and educational!

    Vooks is a unique and compelling streaming storybook site that brings books to life for preschool and elementary school aged kids. The stories aren’t only read aloud, but are also animated like a 10-minute (or so) film. The stories are narrated with various fun voices and accompanying music, keeping young readers and listeners attention.

    And it’s easy to use! Just choose a storybook, click on play, and watch and listen. The text appears on each page and is highlighted as the narrator reads each word, encouraging the child to read along.

    There are numerous types and themes of books, such as be brave, be creative, biographies, and more. So, the streaming storybooks aren’t only entertaining, but informative and character-building too. There are also lesson plans and other resources for extended learning.

    This animated storybook concept is so fun. I wish I had Vooks when I was a child. I’m thrilled with my new subscription and look forward to reading and listening to the variety of animated stories with my grandson.

  • New update is terrible!

    I used to love this app for my kids! However I don’t like that many of their favourite stories end up getting removed after a while. This most recent update has been awful as well, it kicked me out so I had to reset my password to log back in since it’s been so long since I initially logged in, and now when using airplay I can’t close the app or even let my screen time out on my phone or it’ll stop playing on the tv too. This never used to be a problem! It’s such a pain to try and use the app now because of all the crap in the new update.

  • Bad update

    Used to love this App but since the recent update it’s has become such hard work.

    Ease of use, responsiveness & connectivity was never an issue before the update. Shame, definitely won’t be renewing our subscription.
  • Scam!

    I paid a subscription. After the last update, I couldn’t log in anymore. I tried to recover my password, but it says my email is invalid. But my subscription is still active...
    There is no way to contact their support.
  • Misleading to say the least

    Signed up with the advertising everywhere that said free for 30 days and $4.95 a month, only to find after signing up that it’s $7.50 a month and only a week free trial. Emailed them with no response. Had troubles logging in. Worst experience!
  • Need customer support

    I’m a subscriber of the service. For the last couple of weeks I’ve been unable to login on either of my devices. Once I login I’m asked to pick a trial. If I pick a trial I’m told I already have a subscription. This is super frustrating. I did a screen share with Apple support, they asked me to contact the developer. When I click on the app support button on the Books App Store page I get redirected to a dead page. That says “whoops you must be lost.” This is incredibly frustrating. Please help.

  • Latest update broke UI

    We love this app! However, the latest update made it so the app always loads on portrait (instead of landscape) on our iPad Pro, regardless of the orientation of the device. Also the new UI removed the names of the videos in the browsing page, which combined with having to look at the screen sideways makes it almost impossible to find the vook we’re looking for. Please fix! Running iPadOS 14.4.2 on iPad Pro 12.9 4th gen.

  • Unable to log in on subscription

    Not able to open the app or log in even after subscribing to the app. Also dont know why did it log me out in the first place!
  • Shown 1week trial instead of 30 days

    It states try free for 30 days but shown 1 week trial on subscription prompt. Don’t know what to do...
  • I cannot log back in after the update (2 days ago)

    I already paid the annual subscription and now it keeps asking to join (after the app updated) and now it said my email is invalid @-@
