App could be better
I don’t like the app it is just designed to find a reason to show how bad of a driver you are. The smooth driving section is a joke there’s so many potholes and cracks in the road where I drive, I get low scores all the time because of it. It’s not my fault the road are bad. This system need to be upgraded to know when people are using headphones or Bluetooth in the car to know when talking on the phone. To lose point when your following the law is crazy.
Y’all need to get rid of the time of day stuff. I have a job where I work odd hours. There never a good time to drive according to your app I lose points all the time on that thing. So far this app could be so much more but until you fix those flaws, this is just a one star app to me. It seem to me this thing would be better for teenagers who are just learning how to drive. Smooth Driving is a measure of how well the driver anticipates traffic flows based on the amount of acceleration and braking that are performed throughout the trip. The Phone Habits score measures the likelihood of an accident based on phone usage, even if you are using it hands-free. Keeping your phone in a phone holder will help keep it stationary while you drive and improve your score.Tracking in not Great
This app is not the best tracking app that I have used with an insurance provider. There is no way to explain phone use when driving that isn’t made by the driver unless the entire trip is changed to passenger. The amount of time given to confirm a trip is much too short. 24 hours to confirm trips is ridiculous. This app is the last app on my mind when driving and or living my busy life. The smoothness rating is for lack of a better word dumb. It does take into account the type of phone mount you might be using. My mount in particular moves around a lot although it keeps my phone mounted on my dash. This app would better serve customers if we were given at minimum a week to confirm trips. I went on vacation and at my destination I traveled via shared ride services and forgot to confirm that I was a passenger so now those are recorded as my driving trips. Again, I am definitely NOT thinking about logging into this app while on vacation. This app is a joke if used by insurance carriers.Show lessK-Girl101

Thank you for your feedback on the period to change a trip, and ability to indicate phone use by the passenger. For your next trip, you can pause the app in the more menu for a period of time.Smooth driving flaw
I’ve used a few of these driving habit tracking apps through the years and this one seems to be the most flawed of the bunch. The “smooth” driving score seems to be wildly inconsistent and I suspect it detects movement from speed bumps and rough roads to deduct from your score. I did a test drive where I drove like an 85 year old grandma driving extremely gently with the brakes and acceleration but included some speed bumps and a stretch of rough road and received a score of 56! I also suspect that if you take your phone out of your pocket immediately when you arrive at your destination that it also uses that to deduct from your smooth driving score. I’ve also noticed the same bug with CarPlay and receiving a low phone usage score when my phone never left my pocket.Show lessjfithian66
