Ever since I passed my background check, I have been applying for tasks nonstop. They only pick the taskers who have experience! How am I ever supposed to build my tasks with Hyer if all the vendors keep selecting only EXPERIENCED TASKERS! It’s stupid! I have 4+ years of customer service, fulfillment and general labor. So I’m more than qualified for these tasks. It’s very disappointing to know I need extra cash and I can’t even depend on Hyer to help at all and that’s what they are designed TO DO! I’ve had this app for over a year and I’m still not able to do anything. When I click a job in my area it says to complete the background check. And once I click that it tells me Hyer isn’t available in my area. Then I call the location of the job and they say they have no clue what I’m talking about. Scam APP
This app requested that I work for them, scheduled me for a shift, and refused to pay me for it after I put in my required time. They have not responded to my reports, nor did they respond to my in app request, nor did the customer respond. The store that I worked with through this app didn’t even know I was working with them. Only issue I have with the app is the way you’re chosen. I’ve been using the app since January 2022 and I’m noticing that the pickers (the person who picks the taskers) are biased. They’ll (the pickers) pick individuals who have been using the app longer and/or who have been at the store more often. Each store should have a maximum of how many times you can “not select” a tasker and also have a maximum of how many times a tasker can be picked for your store. E.g. if Joe has been picked for store#123 7x straight this week and Jane has selected the store but hasn’t been picked - Joe shouldn’t be picked again the following week if Jane and others have selected the store but continue to keep getting passed over. And I wouldn’t necessary NOT recommend the app but I wouldn't speak about the app to someone unless they have knowledge of it. There’s a lot of kinks that need to be worked out on the stores side.

If you don’t do something for certain of an employer they’ll leave a bad review and cause you to get locked out for 7 days at first. Doesn’t even tell you what you did wrong you just get flagged or deactivated for no reason. App purely doesn’t show interest in the worker. I have to email every other week just to unlock my 5 star account with over 50+ jobs done. Like fix the penalty system ASAP. Whole app in general is a rip off! Underpaying people for their time and effort. Hyer support team is terrible too they never respond on time and never solve any issues. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS APP!!!Show less8853388

If you’re new to the area employees won’t select you unless you have experience on the app I think hyer should have a spot where you can put a résumé because I have more experience than a lot of people they choose in warehousing. Mejier which is huge in the north hasn’t selected me out of the 20 times I said I was interested.Show lessRosieM333

You pay 10$ for a background check and because you don’t have any reviews you don’t get booked for any of the jobs you apply for. I’ve had this app for months now, I’ve written out my job experience and applied for jobs and I’ve never booked one. I even linked my LinkedIn resume.
The last job I applied for was 30 mins away from my house , I applied for it 5 or 6 hours before the job started , they didn’t even let me know, the time just passed and the job was deleted. It was a waste of time and a waste of 10$. So just know you’re not guaranteed to book a job on Hyer ever , but they will take $10 from you guaranteed.Show lessZoëBleu
