The Fayeteville Observer new app
I have read the newspaper for about 40
Years but for the last few years we can’t get it until almost lunchtime and so I have basically been reading it on my iPhone, but this new app doesn’t let me see the newspaper like the paper edition which I have grown to enjoy and from what I am seeing from the comments of multiple other people, I am not alone in wanting to see the actual newspaper on the app. I don’t believe I could ever get used to how you are doing it on this new app so I am praying and hoping that you will make changes to allow us older readers have what we want and are used to.

Awful
Not what I was expecting. Bring back the old app so I can read the newspaper like it’s the newspaper, not a glitzy graphic-laden website.
Why the new app??
Where’s my e-edition? This app doesn’t even ask for account login information. Why am I paying for a subscription if I can get the news for free?? Hate this format. Give me the old-fashioned e-edition, let me download 7 days of newspapers.
Local news “stories”- little more than the headline
Local newspaper swirling the drain. It’s mostly recycled AP news stories with a few 1-3 sentence local news articles. Usually little to no additional info than contained in the headline. They promised that you can read the articles if you use their app. Now they have locked down any interesting ones unless you subscribe. Bait and switch! I’m deleting this app and I’ll get my news elsewhere.
