Share workout

Can share some workout and other can’t. I don’t know why.

Reps

My only problem with it is it’s hard to log reps on exercises that have a time limit because as soon as the time is up it moves on to the next exercise and I can't figure out a way to either backpedal or log the reps afterwards
As I'm new I'm not sure how exercises without the time limits work

Hi there! Thank you for the review. If you set the reps for timed exercises to “TBD” then the timer will stop to allow you to enter the number of reps. Once entered it will move to the next exercise.

Excellent for home gym users

Finally an inexpensive app without requiring a subscription that lets me add custom exercises with notes, pics and charting. I love the interface, hoping you add more muscles to the GUI, such as shin muscles. Also, it would be nice to be able to use your last session’s reps/weight when starting a new one. I have to start a workout, then hit info, then logs, then click the date to look at to see what I lifted and how many reps from the previous session.

LOVE LOVE LOVE

Nothing but positive things to say about this app! Easy to use, customizable, so much so you can add any workout or exercise yourself. My favourite part is the “workout summary” after your workout that tells you the total weight moved. You can enter different weights or reps throughout the set and add notes anytime to any individual move or full workouts. As someone who is just returning to the gym and fitness and needs structure a plan and motivation; I appreciate this app!

Thank you so much! Love to hear it, keep it up!

Excellent app

Just what I was looking for! Thank you for making this app, I was having trouble finding one that would allow me to customize my workouts and that had a great design - you did it! Is there a way to link to videos on the internet for exercises that aren't in the database?

Finally! A workout app that makes sense!

I love the customization and how it’s not a monthly subscription either. Just a one time fee of $1.99 to remove the ads. I’ve been working out for a long time and finally found an app that can support my custom exercises and workouts!

Checks all the boxes

I haven’t added a workout yet but that’s the best part. My wife created workouts from her personal training sessions and can share them with me. Once you receive (or input) a workout, the app works flawlessly. Absolutely no downsides. I paid for ad free to support the very intentional and well thought out app that has everything that I was paying a personal trainer for through her app. This will support beginners through higher levels of training.

Hi Wombat! Sharing links can be a little tricky. Airdrop is the easiest and should import automatically. If you send a link, your husband will have to open it, then tap the share button (rectangle with arrow coming out), and find Workout Maker in the “more apps” section. Once he finds it, the workout should import. If it isn’t working, email at workout.maker.contact@gmail.com and we’ll get it figured out.

Doesnt work

The premise is good, but it just doesn’t work.
The user interface is a mess and clunky, but workable. The idea is smart, but the backend is not properly configured. You get random exercises even if you select the muscle groups you’re interested in. Selecting the available equipment doesnt do anything either, it will just give you whatever it wants.

Huge fan!

So far, I’m super impressed with the features of this app. It is so intuitive and easy to set up custom workouts which was my biggest concern. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because I wanted to share the workouts I created with my husband and the link that sends doesn’t work 😞 (although easy to set them up, it does take a little time). If that feature was fixed this app would easily be 5 stars. Regardless, if you want to set up your own workouts and keep track of your progress, download THIS app!

Great app just what I needed!

I really like this as we helps understand more about the exercises I’ve been doing, but the only thing would be much helpful is to allow upload short videos so we can have a better view and understanding of the trainings and exercise please?? Thank you!
