Old aged software and needs to come to current world
Got installed by the builder and now I am stuck with this ancient technology which doesn’t work with anything except my mobile phone. Service is poor every time it goes down and it takes ages to reset it back and follow the process which is lengthy than launching a space shuttle. Worst app on my phone.
Needs a lot of software update. Rinnai should stop making these products and try whatever they are good at. Support is worst ever in the country.

It’s ok but could be better
The app works very well and is very responsive like when I change the temperature it work with in 3sec. They only thing is that when set it up it can be a bit tricky and the app doesn’t really help when setting it up. My only wish is that I can use the app outside my home for example. When Im working I would like to turn on the AC from my phone then arrived home with the AC on unfortunately you can’t do that. !!! even though it says coming soon!!!

Connection issues
App when it connects while on WiFi will have to keep reconnecting if you don’t use it.

Needs updating
Bought this as we were told it would be Google home compatible in the near future. That was over two years ago. Remote access outside the home does not work and cannot be configured. Within the home, connection is slow and often loses the wifi module requiring a full reset. It’s time your updated this app and module to be 21st century compatible and lived by your commitment to make it Google home compatible.

Difficult setup process, installation and configuration manual that came with unit is different to the one online. Online Manual explains you can select direct mode option or router mode option, the latter is supposed to allow remote connection however i have not been able to see these settings. So many things need to be updated, time to bring this unit into the 21st century Rinnai otherwise it’s a waste of money!!!

Remote cloud function not working.
The App was a wonderful tool which allowed us to hear or cool the home remotely when we were not home. This function was useful when prior to us getting home.
Sadly, whilst the App works via Wifi at home this function is no longer works outside my home which defeats the intended purpose. Rinnai confirmed this via email. They have promised to replace the Rinnai Touch Wi-Fi when a new and more reliable unit is a available. That could mean 2 weeks or 12 months.

Wifi keeps dropping
Unfortunately, not a great product. Haven’t been able to configure it for 2 months. Very buggy, used to keep dropping off.

Horrible app
Truly horrible app but if you have a brivis system what choice do you have. I can only beg Rinnai to spend some money and improve it. You can’t create schedules or even create a timed off. App also constantly drops out and you need to relaunch every time you use it.
I feel a class action coming on….
Cloud service is gone so I basically have a $400 plastic box that mimics my controller on my phone when I’m standing in the same house as my controller. YAY…. Not!
Totally pointless. No remote access and Rinnai ignore all support questions on the matter. They’ve clearly abandoned the service and have decided not to tell any unsuspecting that purchases the Wi-Fi module. Poor form Rinnai.

Absolute rip-off! Loses connection all the time, below even basic functionality. Should never have been released or sold.
