Great app!

I have been using this app for three years to track my daughter’s pain and it is great.

+=
-lots of different factors and categories. You can add your own and personalise the order of lists, which is helpful.
-The development of pain strength over different periods of time is visualised in graphs, which are very helpful to show doctors.
- statistical information is helpful to try to identify triggers and solutions
- the daily reflection scale can be used to track a second symptom in parallel to the first

- not many
- it would be great to be able to track different kinds of pain at the same time, eg. Headaches and stomach aches and seizures/ drop attacks
- the duration tracker can be misleading, because it creates an average on the graph, so if someone has a few hours a pain level 8, but mostly a 4, it might come out the same as someone with a whole day 5. This makes it difficult to show doctors improvement from medication

Does what is advertised

It is good and I am liking it a lot but I wish you could add notes or custom options on if medication helped or not. For example if my meds slightly worked for an hour or so and I clicked “yes” indicating my meds helped isn’t the best but I’d be lying if I said they didn’t help at all. It’s be great if there were either more options or a custom option

Great!

Works great! Love being able to save your records into a file for the pain specialist or treating practitioner.
Would be good to add photos or have that drawing of a person to circle exact location of pain. It does have all descriptions you could need and you can add more.

Response from developer

Thanks for sharing! We do have the ability to add photos on our roadmap, so stay tuned!

Julia

I have pain all day every day. Downside of this app is that it reminds me of all my aches and pains. Plus side…it keeps me aware of all my aches and pains.

Response from developer

Living with pain is terrible, and our goal is definitely not to always remind you of it. That's why we introduced the Daily Reflection, so you can track all the amazing things you're still able to do despite your pain - sometimes it's easy to forget and acknowledge what you're doing for yourself. We wish you all the best!

Great, intuitive app

It’s a really good intuitive app that has helped me to manage and improve chronic pain. The questions have helped me to feel better when I’m having a really bad day.

Response from developer

That's so great to hear - it means so much to our team that our app has had the chance to help someone living with pain have just a slightly bit better!

Fibromyalgia and cervical spondylitis

I suffer with fibromyalgia and cervical spondylitis and I am doing this at the moment to see what is causing most of my pain and I’m also giving up information that Pip needs to have a look at a claim for myself

Response from developer

We hope that our app is helping you get the care and claims you need!

Fantastic

MMP is an amazing app to use if you suffer from chronic pain. Simple to use from day one. Let’s you track what you did for the day, how it effected your pain, what you did to relieve your pain, and how the pain is effecting you. You can generate a report of your progress if you wish. I do and take it with me to my doctors appointments. The doctor then can see day to day with out me having to give him some vaguely descriptive answer. It helps me. It may help you too.
