  • Really Great

I have always had a paper diary, but after this trial, I absolutely love it. Let’s be honest, paper planners don’t remind you to do anything and so a digital planner has better functionality. The best part and the reason that I love it is it has a calendar AND to do lists (in day view) and in the ‘lists’ area. I have never been able to combine a diary and my to do list before and this ticks all the boxes! And it is a really simple and fun interface to use, plus it has a desktop app, iPhone and iPad apps, what more could you want!

  • Deetone

I’ve used paper planners for years but hated having to drag it around with me everywhere so I used to have everything in my iCloud calendar too.

Moved over to a pdf planner but found this so time consuming. Then I found artful agenda, I love it! I’ve got it on my iPad, phone and laptops and can also access it at work. No issues with syncing either, plus everything goes into my iCloud calendar too. On top of that there are multiple covers to choose from and stickers to brighten up the pages. Thank you Artful Agenda!

  • Great digital alternative with paper planner options

I started using a|a a few months ago and they have already come out with several updates. I love that it seamlessly syncs with my native Apple calendar app so I can still share calendars with my husband and daughter but they don’t need a new app-Cozi didn’t work for us because he already uses 2 calendar apps (one for work Outlook and a personal one on Apple) and didn’t want another place to look. This way I get to have a fun calendar that caters to my artistic side and still syncs with our shared calendars. I use several Google calendars as well and they all sync to my Artful Agenda calendar. I’ve gotten a lot of great ideas from the private Facebook group as well. Glad I signed up for the 2 week trial and have already purchased another annual subscription. Happy planning!

  • Love it

I am a paper planner from way back and have tried so many digital planners. I have never found one that gives me daily, weekly and monthly planning combined with task management and lists functionality. The ability to sync my work and personal calendars is an absolute game changer
  • Fantastic

One of the greatest things of 2020 for me, was discovering Artful Agenda. My life is so organised now, everything is in one place, no more lugging heavy paper planners around and no more missed appointments. I love the list functionality and have planned and organised Christmas 2020 using the list feature. I have daily tasks set to repeat and scheduled tasks set to rollover if not completed on a particular day. I love that I can link my gmail ( personal calendar) and my outlook calendar (work) to AA meaning that all appointments/ tasks are in one place. The facebook group and support that I have access to as an AA user is great and I love how Katy takes on board our suggestions for new calendar themes, stickers etc . Thank you for what has to be the best digital calendar/ planner on the market.

  • Best Calendar App!

I love Artful Agenda! I used to have a paper planner and undone tasks would get lost, I had to rewrite things from the family digital calendar and vice versa, I forgot deadlines... a|a has changed all that! I am more productive, I don’t forget the little things, and I get to play with digital stickers to make my planner cute! Plus I’m saving a ton of money not buying paper planners, stickers, etc. One of the best things for me personally is that a calendar I’m subscribed to for my church’s board (I’m on the Board of Trustees) NEVER showed up on Google no matter how many times I reset it; but it shows up on a|a! That has been incredibly helpful since I’m also on committees and there have been days I forgot we had a meeting until the president sent the 1 hr reminder. That is a thing of the past with a|a.

Their customer service is fabulous, the FB group is fun and helpful, and you can’t go wrong with a free trial.

Just get it. You’ll love it!

  • Subscription cost & syncing required

You have to sign up to pay a subscription but get 2 weeks trial, so you can cancel beforehand if you don’t want continue using it. However to use the calendar you also have to sync it with at least 1 account - Apple, Google or Microsoft. This means they have access to & can use your info in there. There is no option to use the calendar if you don’t want to sync an account, you simply can’t access it until you do. Shame, because it looks nice. Not the easiest to navigate through. Needs improvement & less barriers to use.

  • Just what I wanted!

I’ve been using pdf planners because I couldn’t find an app that did what I wanted AND was pretty... but this is it! Month, week and day views, stickers... fab! One request... pleeeeaaaase can you make an iPad version that looks like the web app? I love the way it has lifelike pages and the day view is so good on the web. Thank you!

  • My planner peace

I've done paper planners. Lots of them. I like them but always felt there was a clumsiness when I need it with me. I tried digital planners and transferring calendar items was a waste of time. I found Artful Agenda. This is my planner peace. Convenience of my planner with me at all times. Desktop, iPad and phone. Like a digital planner but syncing all of my calendars (work and personal) is so time saving, productive and plain helpful. I love the tasks section and notes which i use for my budget tracking. This is the longest I've stuck with consistently tracking my budget and financial goals. and LISTS!!! Finally I have a convenient place for my notes, turning them into action items and assigning to appropriate day via tasks. This is an all in one app for what I use to use separately (calendar, tasks, notes).
I haven't even touched on the customer support. I made a near fatal error with a list and they were able to fix for me. AMAZING. They listen to feedback and constantly improve the app. I am a lifer. Clearly I'm a fan.

  • On its way to greatness!

This is the seed of a great app but several things are preventing me from recommending it at this point.
#1–the stickers are a unorganized, ugly and do not stay precisely where placed—not on the same device and not from one device to another, they seem to snap to some predetermined location just off of where I actually placed them. I want aesthetically pleasing stickers with precise placement—the whole upside of this app over other calendars is supposed to be the pretty factor yes?
#2-so much wasted screen space! On both the iPad and desktop. The leafy background is pretty but wastes screen real estate to the point where I can’t read my calendar, even on my 16” MacBook.
#3-the price is outrageous, it doesn’t offer $4/month in value over just using Google or Apple calendars.
...For now I will continue to use my GoodNotes digital planner and wait for this app to mature and get significantly cheaper. It has a fantastic idea but it just wasn’t functional enough to pay a premium monthly price for—yet! Keep the updates coming and I’ll be back to check it out next year :)

    Developer Response

Hi Camperoo! Thanks trying Artful Agenda! If you are having trouble with sticker placement, please do a support ticket through the app. We would love to look into this for you and fix any issues you are having. Stickers should stay where they are placed! Also, we are working on a "sort" feature for stickers, so stay tuned for that. In the meantime, they are grouped by designer as we have had multiple people design sticker packs for us. We do our best to provide a variety of sticker styles, but if there is a certain style you are looking for, be sure to send your suggestions to hello@artfulagenda.com or DM us on Instagram. As far as wasted space on the iPad, we recommend accessing from a browser on there for the best user experience until our tablet specific app is released. I personally have a 16 inch MacBook and feel the space is well used on there, so this might be a matter of personal viewing preference. However, you might try viewing Artful in "full screen" (Control/Command/F) mode. (We do plan to release an update soon with larger font sizes, so this might help you as well.) And finally, our price allows us to provide an ad free experience, super responsive tech support and continuous development that is responsive to the needs of our user base. We hope you will give Artful another chance soon!
