Elegant flexibility
Impulse elegantly helps me practice my rhythmic trouble spots, like smoothly switching between quarter notes and triplets and back, in ways other metronomes can’t! The only minor user interface things I would improve would be to (a) make the sound selection spinners larger so my fingers could easily select a different click, and (b) allow the app to run in landscape orientation. Each rhythm has its own feel. I was having trouble feeling different subdivisions and even more trouble trying to add rests. This app is a life saver! Create the rhythm and it plays it for you. A larger selection of sounds makes it much easier to sit and listen to. It’s also just a beautiful app, a true piece of art! Its a must have for any musician and opens up a world of possibilities for rhythm in improv!Show lessGabberflastic

THE BEST!!
This metronome is better than a dream come true. The ability to change subdivisions for each beat sets this app light years apart from the rest. I play very syncopated rhythms on many instruments and have always wanted a more versatile metronome. I can usually get different rhythms but it’s the same for each beat. This app is magical. There is mention in the app that further features will be released. However, there hasn’t been an update in at least a year. 😩

Can’t do 15/16 or any odd time signatures. Disappointed.Aelevy81
