Won’t even let me sign up wth
Not working at all. Very unhappy.
This *was* working for our feeder on our old phones (original review below), but when we upgraded to iPhone 14s, we couldn’t get it functioning again. I even tried using the previous version of the app and then tried reinstalling this app on my old phone, but now nothing works. When I try to add the feeder, it’s coming up as the wrong model and therefore not pairing correctly. I contacted the company and got a reply asking which model we had, but once I replied to that, they quit responding. I’m very disappointed and upset to have what would be a physically working item that is now useless because the app won’t work. It’s bad customer service and it’s terrible for the environment to have a huge piece of plastic that’s good for nothing, which would still be functioning if the company would service their app. So the product and app absolutely don’t function as advertised and I can’t recommend PetWant as a company with this kind of behaviour. What a shame as we used to be happy with the feeder.

Our old app stopped working and we tried to reset it only to find we had to download this new “test” app. We were worried by all the bad reviews, but it is now working for us. We initially declined the app access to location services and it wouldn’t allow us to connect to our WiFi, so we had to give the app access to our location data (which I don’t believe we had to do last time and we are not all that happy about), but once we did that, all was up and running fine. For those who can’t connect, I’d suggest making sure they’re giving location data permission to the app (at least to get it connected), making sure they’re resting the device by pressing the rest button on the BOTTOM of the feeder for 5 seconds (even though the app says the front button), and also to make sure they have their phone/device on the 2.4ghz WiFi channel as the feeder will not work on 5ghz. We’d give it five stars except for asking to access our location data, needing to register with an email, and for asking the pet’s birthday during set up (you can later delete it) which feels a bit like data mining. As it is, 4 stars as it’s working as it should!

Stopped working
If you bought something that only uses this app, return asap. Waist of money, can’t use my feeder and haven’t even had it for a year yet. Tried other apps and this one was the only one that worked for it.

Problematic
When this feeder works, it works great! But it has major connectivity issues; it only works on the 2.4 GHz internet connection and whenever there’s a power outage, it makes this horrible static sounding noise for days with no apparent solution for how to make it stop.
Useless
The old Petwant app wouldn’t let me log in. When I tried to reset my password it said my account didn’t exist and made me download this app to make a new one. Now every time I try to create a new account, I get an error message. It has made my pet feeder completely useless. It’s infuriating.
Cannot get in touch with developers
It is a shame that after two years of ownership, with upgrades globally with internet, a person cannot connect to device. In addition, it is troubling that I cannot get in touch with manufacturers to discuss inherent problems with device
Not working
A machine is not recognized by App. Tried everything but not working :( It worked before with the previous version of Petwant app. Something wrong with their new app.

My F3 won’t connect via the new app, agree with the previous review now have a completely useless and expensive feeder! Please fix the app!
New App - doesn’t work
My Petwant F1s stopped working so I tried to re-add the devices. Old App directs me to use this new App. Now I am unable to add the devices. I am using 2.4Ghz Wifi, LINK light flashes, add the device in the App, connections fails but light stays connected.
PLEASE FIX THIS APP as products now useless.
