Not working at all. Very unhappy.
Old review:
Our old app stopped working and we tried to reset it only to find we had to download this new “test” app. We were worried by all the bad reviews, but it is now working for us. We initially declined the app access to location services and it wouldn’t allow us to connect to our WiFi, so we had to give the app access to our location data (which I don’t believe we had to do last time and we are not all that happy about), but once we did that, all was up and running fine. For those who can’t connect, I’d suggest making sure they’re giving location data permission to the app (at least to get it connected), making sure they’re resting the device by pressing the rest button on the BOTTOM of the feeder for 5 seconds (even though the app says the front button), and also to make sure they have their phone/device on the 2.4ghz WiFi channel as the feeder will not work on 5ghz. We’d give it five stars except for asking to access our location data, needing to register with an email, and for asking the pet’s birthday during set up (you can later delete it) which feels a bit like data mining. As it is, 4 stars as it’s working as it should!
