  • Physically impossible to be pay to win

The people who are complaining it’s pay to win have really miss-understood the very nature of the game. In a game with full loot pvp, paying money to have shiney things is a double edged sword, since power that someone bought has to be put at risk in order to be anything other than a chocolate fire guard. Those who have powerful equipment will find it can be taken off them by others simply by blowing them up. The usefulness of that paid power is only as useful as their skill in keeping it. Others fielding more expensive stuff provide benefits to both themselves and others, and not a one sided thing as some imagine. they are your loot piñatas, they are there waiting for you, go out and take them, if you can. Kill all tomorrow’s loot piñatas. Whatever ccp’s sins are, and they have many trust me, it was not that. Let us hope that the company they partnered with keeps to that tradition. But I think they get it too.

  • Great graphics but pure cash grab

This games looks beautiful, however on the dark side this game is purposefully made cumbersome to force you into a paid subscription.

It’s also pay 2 win: once you pay, you get access to more ships and +300 skills

Another good example is selling things...

Non-paid: you can’t unless the station wants to buy the item and there is some sort of demand / space.. So you look up where you can sell it, fly there, try to sell it only to get a message that the sector needs to be above 0.0 security - the sector is 0.9 security ... if you find finally somewhere you can sell it, you get barely something for it...

In a pay subscription: press sell, done

  • No words needed

As all of have installed or uninstalled the game, we can believe the graphics are amazing right? To the people who have complained about “Oh this game doesn’t explain how to play very much”, well not everything is handed to you, Try searching your how to play on the web or watch videos, and...the game has tutorials yet people are still confused and have to ask people in the help chat because they can’t help themselves. “Oh the controls aren’t good and there isn’t free movement to actually control your ship”. There’s a double tap to go which direction you want to go/warping etc, but what do you expect from a mobile game. “The warps take to long just to do missions and to get somewhere”, yea we’ll deal with it, if you aren’t patient enough, then that’s a you problem, this game is a grinding game, not like a lot of those other genres you see in the Apple tire/google play store. In my opinion ik it’s not as great as Eve Online, but it’s a great starting point and the devs worked really hard on this game and you can totally see that by far. I have to admit one problem that can speak for all are the cons to omega whereas as the omegas have an advantage far over alphas to buy omega, I mean sure you guys gave a way to buy it without spending money, but that’s gonna lower the chance of people staying in this game, unless that temptation to spend money because as an omega i have seen how it affects the mobile community of this game.

  • It’s a love/hate

I love this game for the same reason I hate this game: the lack of any quest or mission weighing you down and forcing you into a specific path. I love how freeing this game is. You’re free to do whatever you want right off the bat with nothing weighing you down or preventing you from doing what you want to do. Which is fantastic. But at the same time, the lack of any sort of quest or mission to provide guidance is a bit of an issue. As it stands, the game feels too overwhelming. I have all these things I can do but no idea where to start. It doesn’t help that the tutorial really only tells you about the basics of leveling up and combat.

My advice would be to improve the tutorial so that it teaches players how to manufacture items and how to mine as well. I also recommend adding some sort of optional ‘storyline’ to follow for players who like having some sort of purpose or direction (such as myself). Other than that the game has been pretty good so far.

  • Game killing bugs, beyond poor customer service

It’s not worth playing unless you are willing to shell out money for Omega.
They are constantly updating the client which is good, however when their bugs cause u to lose everything, they don’t take responsibility.
The interface to contact customer support is frustrating, slow and not transparent. You have a very short amount of characters to send a message, and no way of continuing the conversation once they have replied. They only sign off as “eve customer support” and at least two of replies I’ve received have been from people with dubious English skills.
even though I started playing within minutes of the server starting, I’m pretty close to deleting the game right now and asking for my money back.

  • Great Game

Many different way to play, need bit time and intelligence to understand then can play better
  • Pretty good.

I could never get myself into the original game (Eve Online) on PC because it was too complicated. When I saw the mobile version I thought I’d give it a try and oh boy I’ve been playing it non stop for several days now.

    Pros:
-Everything in the cash shop can be purchased with in game currency. You don’t need to spend a single dollar to go premium. You just need to play a bit.
-It is much more simpler and easier to learn than original EVE but still kinda complex for a mobile game.
-It is a sandbox MMO on mobile!

    Cons:
-The game drains my battery and heats my phone so quickly.
-In game chat is poorly designed, it is hard to communicate with other people.
-The game punishes you hard for not doing your research before playing. There is permadeath which means when you die, your ship gets destroyed and you lose everything you had in it. I didn’t know there were specific locations to PVP, I randomly attacked another player and my ship got blasted by an anti-PVP gun when I went through a warp gate. Turns out I had to wait for my PVP flag to expire.

10/10 would try to kill another player and get destroyed by a warp gate gun again.

  • Great Game, and not pay to win.

To address the people saying this game is pay to win, it really isn't. Sure you can spend £5 a month for additional benefits such as extra skills and faster training but there is no paywall. Its easily possible to gain access to the vast majority of items in the game without spending money.

The first tutorial is useful, but the advanced tutorial is just a list of things to do which makes it difficult to find out how to complete those objectives. The game is also very complex, but fortunately they added a global help chat to help people find out what to do and where to find certain buttons or start missions.

I wish they would add the skill tree like they did in the PC version where you have many many more skills available, and much more character customisation. Other then that they managed to turn the pc game eve into a really good mobile game, but some people i feel dont really know what to do or get overwhelmed with the amount of menus and buttons so they write bad reviews.

Last point is the graphics, they look incredible but they also turn your ipad into a powerpoint presentation inside a microwave so i have to have them on low all the time. Really great game though, think you went a bit overboard on the graphics.

  • EVE

I really like it but there some things I don’t like. Like for number 1. Is when u do a mission it says 11 jumps to 32 jumps like I wish y’all would make it less jumps. 2. Of u do make us jump more in the game to go on a mission I would like to see a higher pay raise instead of seeing 3.000 Sik for 13 jumps and 13 jumps back. And another think I’ve notice is the market I have so much trash that I don’t use I sell it off but u have to wait for someone to buy it what I’m trying to get at I play game that u sell something u don’t have to wait u will get the full amount it like for example diablo 2 and 3 in battle net u sell something they give u the full amount back for that iteam but with this game like I’m sorry to repeat my self I believe u sell something u should get the money for it instead of waiting for the other buyer to buy it from u. And my 3rd thing I want to say is about mineing what the point of that u don’t make no money from it sometimes u lose money from it but in all terms is a really good game I can’t what to see what y’all do in the future for it but pls before u guys make a big update make sure it don’t make the game trash Bc that how y’all lose money and people well that all I have to say

  • How mobile gaming should be..

This game is some of the best on mobile and is being unfairly reviewed by people who are frustrated that they’re 5 year old phones have trouble running it. This game is NOT P2W there is nothing locked behind a cash shop! They’re is a item called basic omega clone that cost $5 this item can also be earned completely F2P within a few days if you dedicate a few hours a day that’s it. Graphics are incredible maybe the best in mobile gaming also runs good on pc emulators if you don’t want to tie up phone all the time. Game can be complicated to learn but it’s part of what makes it fun, this just released on mobile and game is packed with new people and plenty of people from the old pc game eager too answer any questions, The community is mostly older and everyone for the most part is very respectful. You have nothing to lose by trying it but like I said before earlier there is a ton to learn in this game it’s is a huge mmorpg full of options but if you put in a little time you will figure it all out fairly quick and pick up lots of little things over time
