Read other reviews, should have listened. The app WILL NOT stay connected to the dash cam WiFi. I emailed the company because I called over and over again over 2 days and they won’t return my call. So I have no choice but to email. I mentioned in the email that they don’t answer the phone, it goes right to voicemail and the rep responded (the next day James W) to tell me that their phone lines are open from 8-5pst. I’ve tried 6 times over the course of 2 days, left several messages and the only response I got was 1 email. They suggested turning on airplane mode and trying to connect again. Didn’t work. They said if that didn’t work to format the sd card. Did that, didn’t work. Responded to the email to let them know it didn’t resolve the issue. 6 hours and counting , no response. Tried calling in between then and now, as I said, straight to voicemail. I have multiple devices at home including a printer and a Nikon camera which both use similar technology to transfer data but this camera just simply doesn’t work. All my other devices just switch on WiFi and connect to it, done, not this dash cam. And I’m not alone here guys, are you reading your reviews? This WiFi connectivity is a real issue. I’m going back to the install shop tomorrow and I’ll let them have a try at it. $500 to have this installed, should have trusted my gut and cancelled the install appointment. I want a refund, this is ridiculous.
