Folding Inconsistent
The thing I didn’t like with Hampr was that the folding was inconsistent. They give their Washr’s guidelines, but there’s varying interpretation of those guidelines. Plus I have a preferred way of folding certain things to fit neatly in my closet.
I now have someone I pay to do my laundry consistently, and the way I’ve requested. The downside is I work only on her schedule. So if she’s sick or goes on vacation, I have to work around that. But it’s worth it because I can make special requests for what I want.
Washr Experience
Service is great, app is awful
The “presets” settings does not work at all. Hanging preferences and dryer sheet usage is not saved. Every time you modify an existing preset, it saves a new one by sticking “modified” at the end. Now I have like 30 presets and none actually have what I want saved in the them. Has anyone tested this?
Also, simply modifying a load in an order is annoying. When you try to “update” the load and you scroll down it hasn’t detected an input yet, so when you tap it scrolls you back up. VERY ANNOYING. Also, if you modify a load it moves the load to the bottom of the load list.
If you need someone to test your app and come up with a long list of bugs, let me know.

I tried to report a Washr (same related washer who claimed majority of my orders) for stealing my clothes and they said they don’t believe me. I have over $300 worth of my belongings missing and they haven’t reimbursed me. It took 3 weeks for a manager to even reach out to me. And once they did reach out, they said I was lying argued that my belongings weren’t stolen at all. Their reimbursement policy states if you claim your missing items within a certain time you’ll be able to get the money back. ITS A LIE. Daniel is rude, dismissive and the reason for this rating.

Great service, app needs polishing
The app needs some polishing.
The feature specifically around the preferences of the loads and saving them. Hanging toggle is not saved, nor is the dryer sheet preference when you select save new or save. Setting this every order for multiple loads is annoying.
When you attempt to edit the load preferences and if you scroll down and attempt to tap any button, it will automatically scroll you to the top. This is frustrating.
It continually appends MODIFIED to the end of the load preferences because there’s a Save New and a Save button that would seemingly do different things. But I can’t tell
Mostly because….
When you modify a load preference, it resorts the loads you have ready to go, and then I have to figure out which I’ve already modified and which I haven’t.

Pretty sure the return was on time though. Only one problem - I got a load of someone else’s laundry and was missing one of mine… Basically 90% of my tshirts, underwear and socks.
The Support Team launched an immediate investigation to track down my items and kept in constant contact with me with updates… Ok I may have pestered them a little. In the end, they located my things and returned them to me as well as returned the other customer’s items to them.
How many other businesses can you say go that kind of extra mile for customers? None that I know of.

Waited 2 days and my laundry is still dirty
I have chronic pain which that makes doing laundry very difficult. I saved up money specifically to use this service and planned ahead to have my laundry washed when needed. 2 days later it is still dirty and I have no clean sheets for my bed. I have medical testing which will be a long appointment tomorrow and I will need to rest after and now I do not have my laundry done after hours of waiting.
I see lots of positive reviews, but my experience was negative. Customer service did refund me (fortunately) but this is a warning. If you are considering this service and you really NEED it, this may not be your best option. They don’t seem to take it very seriously, so I guess this is more of “nice to have” than something you can rely on.
