A very entertaining doom clone
This game is lots of fun. The ads do not bother you that much and the gameplay is fun. The only reason why I am giving this game 4 stars and not 5 is because there are quite a few performance slowdowns. I am on IPhone se so these are expected but still.Wacy Justice
This is sad
The controls are pretty bad. This means you have to stop walking to shoot your gun because of how the controls were placed. There are different enemy types but they all do the same thing. I expected to die a lot because of the bad controls but the enemies are so badly programmed they would sometimes stop moving and not pay attention to me at all. Good for what it’s worth 👍
Now, I love Doom, but I don’t love paying for it a bunch of times on different platforms. Thanks to this, I can play Doom on the go, at the cost of it not being Doom. I will say the character design and music is pretty unique, but fits the tone. However, there is two minor flaws that deters from the rest of this good clone: The graphics. Yes, Doom had 2D entities, and so does this game, but Doom ran on ID, while this uses the fancy Unreal engine. In Doom, no matter which angle you’re facing, all entities appear 2D and are always facing you. This game does not oblige. Sometimes, the enemies like the flesh worm thing and the little dark gremlins will be sideways and become practically invisible. This is ignorable though. The other little flaw is how you can’t look around and shoot. This would be helpful when you’re trying to lock onto your target with, say, the pistol. The hit market is so small that it makes it a challenge to make your mark.
Besides those two things, this game is worth waiting 15 seconds to download. Four stars. 👍Show lessD00MSLAYER LANCE
Good, but needs work.
There used to be DOOM for mobile, but they removed it. Once I found this game, 8+ months after playing DOOM mobile for the last time, I found this. I must say that it is certainly promising, but I have some issues. First, I understand that all of DOOMs original weapons are in the game, but not many are in the Dungeon mode. I’m almost at level 10, and all I have is the pistol, chainsaw, and rocket launcher. Also, maybe in the future there can be more variety in the generated maps, because they do get repetitive over time. There is too much ammo, the enemies don’t use ranged attacks, and survival mode is unplayable. Overall, it’s a good attempt at remaking DOOM on mobile, but updates are needed.Show lessMorki Moo
Not the best
It’s a good game except when you get far in a level and then die and it says second life if you watch a video well when the timer ends on the video the game instantly starts before you hit X to close out the had and most of the time your already dead because of that then you have to watch another video and hope it won’t happen againShow less247284this is a trick
Great game!
I absolutely love this game, I think it’s a great spin on the original doom game. I think everything works great, I’ve hit no bugs, and I love how it’s randomly generated. My only complaint is that you cannot turn while shooting, but I guess that just adds to the challenge. Great game, one of the best timewasters of all time. 👍Show lessefelk103
