Great Video Player
Just want to say, this app is great. I have tried various other media players in the App Store and came to the conclusion that this one has the most potential. It is light weight and provides a simple yet customizable experience. Overall i highly recommend using this to manage your videos over other programs and hopefully the features are improved even further in future updates!

It’s MPV
UI is painful on fingers for long use, VLC player is much nicer.
I have emailed the owner and received no reply.
The file loop feature turns on randomly. Unbelievably annoying to dig into the menu to turn it off.
Does not adhere to the standard iPhone ui controls, one should be able to tap the right side to go to best video, swipe top to bottom to exit the player. The only reason I use the app is due to MPV👌 however I now want my money back. That is an official request.

Great player 👍
Absolutely the best video player I’ve used on iOS/iPad. The UI is thoughtfully well design and easy to use. There is absolutely no feature bloat while still maintaining all the necessary features. It’s library is really easy to use. Best of all, it literally plays any media file (such as TS stream). Great job!

Love it
Wonderful for playing anything on my iPad. Thank you
Missing one feature
It's an amazing app, but I'd like to have videos be able to loop by default as an option.
The best app I have used for streaming
The app is flawless the hi is perfect and the gestures are god sent. Continue the hard work. I would have one request would be to have more features for the advanced and the ability to play another video without having to close the previous one.
Great work thank you
Great work thank you
Flawless hardware decoding
Edited because it now has HDR support, yay!
Compared to VLC, this app hardware decodes more often than not with supported codecs (VLC sometimes inexplicably doesn’t with 10bit HEVC files [device heats up] that this app can decode with hardware). It’s simplistic design is wonderful and I don’t feel compelled to dive into the settings and micromanage everything. What would make it even more of an essential video player is if true HDR output could be added, or at least it doesn’t work properly on the SE3. There’s an argument to be made that the benefits of HDR are limited on a simple LCD display, but when playing back HDR-encoded content like Sony’s Swordsmith demo in the system Files app, it will display in HDR mode as denoted by an HDR icon on the top left and the peak brightness and color gamut seem just a bit better compared to how it looks in this app and VLC (which also messes up the color, presumably from not getting the color gamut right). Ignore what I said about casting, I forgot you had to mirror screen using AirPlay for that to work.

Response from developer
HDR has been added in an update earlier this year! And thank you for the feedback.
Recommend other video players
There are other video players much better this incl: AVPlayerHD (9/10), VLC (free 8/10), Air Video HD (10/10 for streaming videos over LAN, local network I.e. from your iMac or disks attached to it to your iPad or iPhone).
I’ve used AVPlayerHD in combination with FileBrowser (connect to Cloud Drives. FileBrowser has inbuilt streaming support to all major video players) & I use Air Video HD most often as I store videos on my hard drives attached to my IMac & simply stream them to my iPad and then onto my TV using Apple TV & AirPlay, it’s perfect!

Excellent app but lacks AirPlay support
Can we please have AirPlay soon?
subtitle
it would be SO MUCH BETTER if we could search subtitles online through opensubtitles inside the app. hoping to see this feature in the future 🙏
