Works well, trust but verify

Hi GonzOhio, I’m very sorry for your plants. Actually, one of the most common issues when using the diffuser accessory is not swapping the diffuser type setting. Unfortunately, it's impossible for the app to detect whether you’re using the accessory or a paper diffuser and thus the type must be set by the user. If you use the accessory, but have the setting set to “Paper Diffuser” it will read roughly twice as much❗️If you then adjust your lighting according to these values, your plants will receive way too little light. Meaning they will show heavy signs of stretching. The key takeaways for you or any grower, no matter what light meter you’re using, should be to A read the instructions (e.g. here https://lightray.io/diffuser/usage/#usage) and B to always monitor your plants – they will always tell you if something’s off. We try to place this information in all of our guides and throughout the app, without overcomplicating it. Don’t hesitate to contact us at support@growlightmeter.com. We’re always here for you, if you run into any kind of issues with our products. All the best and happy growing ✌️🌱 Dennis Update: I'm sorry, my intention was not to blame anyone, just to clarify. I'm not sure if you still have an issue, or not. If so please reach out to support@growlightmeter.com so we can assist. If not, let us know at feedback@growlightmeter.com on how we can improve our product e.g. where to inform users that this setting needs to be swapped.
