  • Worth it.

This game is pretty good. I’ve beaten it with all the classes. You can be a glass cannon, you can be a near invincible tank, and everything in between. You don’t need a connection to play, and you can just stop at any moment and come right back to where you were later. You can play casual, or you can challenge the 99 floor final stage. It’s satisfying, and worth the small price tag. A few of the translations missed the mark, but if that’s a problem for you, then you probably don’t even like video games and you’re not reading this anyway.

  • Great game but don’t get this version

This is one of my favorite rougelike games. The crafting system adds so much depth and makes this so fun to play. I have spent countless hours on other platforms playing this.

However, it looks like a blurry mess in the iOS version. There is an ugly interpolation filter applied over the pixel graphics that make them look blurry and hard to look at. Makes having such nice pixel art such a waste when there is filter smeared all over the screen.

What’s interesting is that the old version of this game didn’t have this problem. The non DX (“Lite”) version has nearest neighbor scaling instead. If this version had the old crisp pixel scaling of the original, this would be my go to version to play.

  • Love this little dungeon crawler

There are simple characters with different starting stats so play how you like. Magic User, Dwarf, Fighter etc. Really like the crafting system and different set of monsters. I have 30 hours on this game. I highly recommend if you like a simple system to take on a number of escalating challenges.
