  • My favorite digital queer space

I’m an aesthetic queer, and have been since I was a teenage, with MySpace and tumblr those were my spaces of self expression, this app brought back the nostalgia of my inner artistic self in a space that is all queer and I couldn’t recommend it more. Express yourself in your own safe and beautiful way, download it right now, let’s be friends

  • Place to feel at home ☺️

This is such a unique app, and the sense of community is really next level.
  • This app fills the gap Gay Twitter tried to fill after the great Tumblr exodus of the late 2010’s

Collective manages to do what many queer apps have failed to do: Create a fun, social experience. Navigation is very simple, and easy to understand. All you do is upload or repost pictures, then interact with others. Your posts likes cant be seen by others, which removes a layer of social media anxiety. The user base is super chill and so far all the interactions I’ve had have been great. My only suggestions would be to add new types of content to post: Spotify playlists, voice recordings, ephemeral content or polls would elevate the app even more.

collective is a really great new space for LGBT to share their experiences, thoughts and ideas as well as a platform to meet new interesting people. can’t stop using it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • A fun, free queer app

Collective is fun, free, queer and a wonderful place to spend you time online.

Unlike other social platforms this feels like a place where you can celebrate being your authentic you. There is no perfection pressure like Insta, or constant video feel. Just a scrapbook of everyone’s lives and an ability to easily connect.

    Love it!

  • Great space for queer people

Love this app - it’s created a community full of like minded people and the interface is super intuitive. 🙌
  • A place of queer freedom and expression

Collective is a safe space full of art, fun, and authentic connection. It’s social media without the trappings of likes or popularity; no one is trying to sell me something or “influence” me— instead, each profile is a small window into the lives of strangers who feel like old friends. There’s a level of intimacy here that you just can’t replicate or fake. 🖤🫂

  • Love

Amazing app to find a welcoming community and a no pressure space to post freely. The app also has an effortless UI and is constantly improving
  • A dream of an app

An amazing opportunity to connect and meet new people from one’s community. Only have great things to say
  • a beautiful, inclusive, inspirational app

i've been using for collective for around 2 years now and over time it has become my online diary. i feel free to post whatever i like, how i like and in different formats (text, GIF or image). I've built connections and friendship through the community and been inspired by countless queer individuals all sharing their life openly and creatively. i feel no anxiety around posting and the app creates a sense of freedom where many other socials feel limiting, hectic and can lead to anxiety/overthinking. collective is by far my favourite app ever and i will continue to engage with it as i have the past 2 years.
