  • Not compatible with page turning device

I previously would have given this four stars as it is incredibly hard to find user instructions. But I now find that turning pages by facial gestures is difficult for me. I have a disorder that results in several facial tics. Adjusting the sensitivity of the software and the duration of the gesture has not worked. Now I find that there is no capability to use a Bluetooth page turning device. I will now have to get another app and transfer my music to it.

  • my scores keep disappearing

this has happened multiple times already- my sheet music will just disappear, and it won’t be in my recently deleted or anything. very disappointing considering i pay money for this app.
  • PDF export function not working

Title. This really hampers my ability to send music and work with other musicians.
  • Cannot play scanned music

I scanned some music with cello & piano parts. This app (digitalScore) can only display the photo of the score. It cannot play the scanned score.
  • Very good but have to pay

I’ve been using this app for quite a while, and I have to say I’m very impressed. I thought that this was some lousy app but it isn’t. Although you have to do certain things in order to even get your music on there, it’s worth it for the most part. When you want to annotate or do some of the other features you have to pay. Although I didn’t mind it at first, it became very tiresome to have to go to extreme lengths just to write fingerings or write in things on my music.

  • A lot of cool features but quirky

Their customer service is slow to respond and struggles to help. It’s a shame because the software is actually wicked cool. I love that I can turn the pages just by winking my eye. I tried a couple of others and I think for $20 this is a good value for sheet music. I play alto sax in a couple of bands.

  • Good design, awful execution

Spending an hour editing and arranging pages to have it crash every time makes me regret this purchase.
  • Luke Warm

It’s impossible to go just one page forward and one page backward. It keeps cycling through the entire set of pages. It becomes rather frustrating. Also when trying to view the controls or not, it ends up turning the page when I just want to turn the pen off and on, then see previous complaint. It’s better than some of the other apps I’ve tried, but I’m going to keep looking.

  • Not practicle

I have a degree in music. I've also worked a little in tech. What is so difficult in creating sensible music notation software that isn't based on musicological terms?
  • Loving the app!

If I had to make an adjustment, I would add the scrolling setting where I choose whether to tap on the bottom right/top left of the score/screen or manually press on the screen and scroll manually. Sometimes tapping on those areas can be tricky to get. Instead, I believe a quick swipe up or down would make it easier as well as swiping left or right to view the next page. Otherwise, I am in love with this app! Great job developing the app!
