Updates should bring improvements!
This app has been excellent...up until the latest update. It is now rubbish! Using an iPhone XS, it is slow, the Home Screen buttons lead to blank pages that force an app force close, you can’t simply login anymore. Don’t the developers test the updates before they send them out? You guys are better than this.

Buggy and slow
Features don't work consitanty. Have to restart app a lot. And then have to use login details every few times even though facial recognition is on.
Gets better with each version
The responsiveness and stability of the app is exceptional. The added features with each version are greatly appreciated. Well done Discovery Bank.

Discovery has it wrong this time.
What their app is forcing upon me as a prerequisite for use is to use facial recognition.
No button to skip, nor opt out.
I don’t biometric readings and facial recognition on any of my banking apps as matter of principal , I shouldn’t have to be forced to use theirs.

Style over Form
In an effort to ease KYC and customer onboarding (both seamless) look great (which it does), and offer vitality rewards (which it does but are confusing) Discovery seem to have de prioritized basic banking functionality. In areas such as transaction search, airtime, data & electricity payments, municipal payments etc..Other banks are streets ahead. Hope Disco catch up. It’s a great brand and would not like to see the Group damaged by an average digital banking experience - which it currently is!

Confusing and does not work
Overly complicated system and when you try activate or use it over seas you can not get in or select any options. I feel the app was launched prematurely and not enough testing has been done. Extreamly frustrating and not comforting when you dealing with money. Looking to drop them as a bank
Can’t set the password
I reset my password 4 times and it kept saying my username and password were wrong. A bit difficult to give it a try if you can’t even log in. App deleted. I’ll stick with Investec.
Stuck on confirm your details
When changing banks first impressions are important and if your app does not work properly when trying to signup , how is the whole banking experience going to be ? Why bother with a app that gets stuck and clearly is not working properly judging by the other comments here . Discovery , are you trying to get clients or loose clients ?????

Potential...
Having discovery bank app in the beginning was slightly difficult...Took long to understand it..
They busy adding every month new things and they catching up with fnb and std apps..
The rewards program is good and security system is tight..
Discovery is doing great job and looking forward what the future holds with them..
It took Std app years to even become the half of what fnb app was...
