With this latest version of EPB Fi TV, we’ve included several bug fixes and stability improvements. We’ve also added exciting features based on feedback from our customers to enhance functionality on both mobile devices and streaming players. Please visit epb.com/SupportedDevices for a full list of compatible devices.
New features for mobile devices include improved DVR management (now you can set, manage and delete recordings on the go), a more traditional guide experience with the option to toggle between list and grid views, and the ability to manage your parental controls from wherever you are.
On streaming devices, you'll now notice a new "Home" option in your navigation choices. Here you can easily browse for shows and movies by category.

In this EPB Fi TV release, we’ve made improvements within the mobile app to help simplify the home screen experience. The icons previously along the bottom of the main navigation screen are now replaced with text to help you find what you want to watch faster. The menu remains visible while you’re browsing between app areas and also now includes “DVR” for those customers who subscribe to this feature.
You can also immediately continue watching a program from the “Airing Now” and “Resume Watching” sections on the home screen. Previously, the interface directed you to the program’s detail page before you could resume watching.
Finally, find the newest episode of any On Demand program with one click. When you reach the program’s screen, you’ll now see a “Play Most Recent” selection.
Platform reliability and stability upgrades also included.

The EPB Fi TV app is compatible with our newest television service launched July 22, 2019. Login to the app and enjoy a TV experience powered by the world’s fastest internet. With this latest version, we’ve included several bug fixes and stability improvements. We’ve also added exciting features based on feedback from our customers to enhance functionality.
Improvements in this version:
* Fast Forward and Rewind Buttons: When watching a program on your mobile device, you can now rewind and fast-forward in 10-second increments using buttons that appear when the screen is tapped. You can also access this feature by double tapping on the left side of the video to rewind or right side to fast-forward.
* DVR Management: We’ve made several improvements to the way you can schedule recordings and manage them from your mobile devices, including adding extra time to a recording or deleting them from your library.
* Improved Search Display Results: Now when you search on your mobile phone or tablet, your results will be displayed into categories filtered by the type of program so you can find what you want to watch faster. Categories include: TV, Movies, Upcoming and Episodes.
* Parental Control Management: Now you can turn parental controls on and off from your mobile devices. You can also create and modify your PIN remotely.
* Circular Guide: When searching for a program on your channel guide, you can now quickly return to the beginning or end of the list. For example, when you arrive at the bottom of the channel guide, continuing to scroll down will automatically return you to the top of the list (vs. navigating all the way back up to the top). In the same manner, when you are at the top of the list, scrolling up will take you to the last channel on the guide.
* Improved OS Support: We’ve tested and ensured that the latest EPB Fi TV app is compatible with all new Apple OS devices.
