There are a lot of harassers and pedophiles and predators and stalkers on the app who will harass you non stop. i’ve also been trying to delete my account for over a week now, but they make it nearly impossible to delete your account once you’ve created it. 0 out of 10, I would NOT recommend.DarkSwan394

Too many fake profiles.
You’ll see if you swipe thru that I’m not the only one with this issue. However, my only ‘matches’/likes are fake profiles. I wondered at first why there wasn’t a push for a premium version/monthly subscription, and I see why now. You would have to be pretty desperate and or/another fake profile to actually want to pay for this app.das.swanfish

PearUp is deepfake : artificially generated renderings of words and images based upon your keystrokes while the app is open. Wish it was real . Downloaded it today and purchased 3 months to see profiles of people nearby and found out majority of the profiles are generated as you narrow in your rating system . That app is a Scam ! It’s a mix of tender and bumble except no restrictions , the data collection is enormous!Voila

THIS APP IS SKETCHY
Everyone that I’ve spoken to on pearup are in a different country, or are catfishing me when they can’t even prove that they’re real people when the conversation starts to get really good.
This may be rated highly on the App Store, but as someone who has messed around with the app, let alone on the free version, it just shows what I’m going to expect if I buy the app.

Locations
Sadly, this app has so much potential that is just wasted. It doesn’t let you filter by location, so I’m matching with people not just across my country but across the world. I have no intention of meeting any of these people from Australia or Massachusetts. It costs $5 a month ish to be able to filter by location to sort your matches, which is bonkers. I have gotten over 50 matches on my first day easily, but none of them are in my area. Then, when you’re looking at profiles, the most you can actually filter the new profiles you’re seeing is <150 miles, which is hours away from me. No way!JordoTheWeirdo
Lack of responses
Why have a distance limitation when it matches you with people all over the world. In addition, I’ve said ‘hey’ to probably 15 ‘matches’, and not one has responded. Not a sole.acoolermd
