Unbelievably Poor App

Purchased a smart cabinet lock and this app was “required” to ensure Bluetooth unlocking of the lock. Many of the recent reviews were extremely negative of this app, and they’re definitely correct! I can’t even register for an account because my password is “too long” at 17 characters when the prompt is “6-20 characters”. I’ve tweaked the password, weakened it — which is a red flag on its own — and reinstalled the app 6-7 times and nothing worked. What a mess.

Reset

I got one but is registered to someone I dont know, how do it reset it ?

Terrible App

If you need to add another person’s fingerprints, this thing is infuriatingly NOT user friendly. The app is pointless, just let me program the lock!

Great app

Brilliant lock and app for my summer house. Not charged the lock for a year nearly and it’s still going strong through storms, snow, ice. If my fingerprint fails due to rain on my hand I use my Apple Watch which never fails. Thanks for this great invention.

Bad app

Lock works good, but the app is TERRIBLE. I entered my password 8 digits and it said 6-20, and I used the eye button to see the passwords and they matched, I clicke register but then IT LITERALLY SAID 6-20 DIGITS AND I TRIED AGAIN MULTIPLE TIMES BUT IT STILL DIDN'T WORK please fix.

I can’t unlock!!!!

I’ve done everything but the Bluetooth disconnects every few seconds. I have to find help to cut off the lock. I do regret this

Awesome concept but needs some work to refine it

Love the concept of finger print lock and Bluetooth .. but app needs help to enable the smooth functionality of Bluetooth and increase the range..

USER MANAGEMENT DISAPPEARED

Set up the lock and then fhe user management on the app completely disappeared. I can’t see anything up and it’s not recognizing my fingerprint anymore.

Response from developer

Hi, do you have multiple accounts registered? If the login is not the right account, there is an issue with your feedback.

Power save mode complicates app

I love the lock and the app is okay. However, the “power save mode” does hinder the functionality of the app a bit. Now I understand, the “power save mode” is meant to extend the battery life of the pad lock. The problem is, when it is in power save mode, you lose all connectivity to the pad lock until you “wake it up”. That means you must physically press the thumbprint pad on the pad lock to wake it up and then you can connect to it with the app.

So if you want to use the Bluetooth function to unlock the pad lock, you must physically grab the pad lock, press the thumbprint to wake it up, connect it to the Bluetooth and then it will unlock. The process isn’t long. If you have the app at the ready, by the time you press the thumbprint the Bluetooth will connect within 2-3 seconds and unlock the padlock. But at that point, if you already have your thumbprint saved to the padlock, just use your thumbprint to unlock it. With that being said, it makes the Bluetooth function, in my opinion, worthless.

Also, I love how there is a log of all of the entries saved to the padlock. However, once again, the problem is that you cannot view those entries unless you’re connected to the pad lock. So if you need to find an entry, you must have the padlock in hand to search for that specific entry. A little cumbersome if you’re using this for work I think. Let’s say I own a business and I use this padlock to keep all the keys of my fleet secured. I give fingerprint access to 10 of my supervisors. I go on vacation but the same day I go on vacation I get a call that one of my vehicles is missing. Well I can’t access the log to see who unlocked that pad lock until I physically am holding it and connected to it via Bluetooth. That’s the only downfall I see it where if you need the info right away that you must physically have the padlock with you to connect to it via Bluetooth and access all the info that you need.

Other than that, it’s a great lock, love the fingerprint feature, just the Bluetooth function I believe is worthless and accessing the data log is cumbersome.

I know having a battery that will stay in standby mode 24/7 will drain the padlock faster but I’m okay with that. If there was a way to keep it on 24/7 for at least a month would be okay with me. That way I don’t have to physically wake it up to access the data log or use the unlock Bluetooth feature. Let’s say my sister was coming over and I’m upstairs in the bathroom and she wanted to use the side gate. Instead of me coming downstairs and unlocking the padlock, I could do so from upstairs possibly. But the reason why I say I’m okay with a padlock that’s on 24/7 so long as it lasts for a month is because I already change my ring camera batteries on a monthly basis. I could always buy another padlock and while swapping my ring camera batteries I could swap one of these padlocks with another fully charged one and go back to my usual thing. But that’s just me though.

Once again, I think the padlock is great, love the fingerprint feature, but the battery save mode does restrict the Bluetooth function a lot to the point it renders it useless which is a shame because I do like the Bluetooth function.

Account Sharing

I bought this lock thinking I would be able to share account access with with my wife but no such luck! The app looses Bluetooth connection randomly and I can’t seem to share account access with my wife!
