Poor App Experince

This feels like an Alpha and not even a Beta released app.

Promising, very promising

Appears to work really well and backups up all my photos from my iPAD to my QNAP painlessly. Face detection is amazing but I can’t find a way to change the cover photo for each person via this app? It lets me do it via the Qumagie web browser app running on the QNAP box. Select a photo you’d like to use then click on the 3 dots top right of said photo and click on “Set as cover”. Works like a charm! Unfortunately this same feature appears to be missing on the Qumagie mobile app? Look forward to seeing that feature added in a future update :)

ALWAYS CRASHES

So slow always crashes absolutely useless application. Hate it.

Getting closer to being back to its glory

Same in recent version. Finally you listened and restored the ability to expand all so its a single panel of scrollable photos. But you still have some photo tiles way bigger than others. Please also revert that function so all photos are the same squares. Like it was a few versions ago.

Odd UI

The UI is very cramped. The people smart album never loads. The photo thumbnails are arbitrarily different sizes. It would be great it if was just something like four across all the same size and the people album loading issue was fixed.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Please check your NAS that has already installed QNAP AI Core fisrt then go bakc to check your smart album. For photo thimbnails, QNAP will provide some types that can select between different size or the same size thumbnails in later version. A jumbled mess

This app is part of a suite of ill-conceived, badly designed, unintuitive, undocumented and frankly useless apps that seem to just create a mangled mess of my media.

really, how hard is it to write a simple, clear easy to use app for browsing media stored on a server.

after installing this POS my photos have been replaced by thumbnails from my music collection, and that is now showing random thumbnails that often have no relation to the music.

Quite simply the qnap media management is a jumbled mess.

No Apple TV support

App is better than the previous offerings from Qnap. However more polish and Apple TV support needed. Ever since I had my NAS I have struggled with viewing on the big screen. You need to sort this Qnap! It’s been years.

Won't backup in the background

Il will only backup my iPhone's photos when the app is open.
Please fix this otherwise it's useless

Sorry for the inconvenience. It's the limitation from iOS system, but we try to reslove this issue that provide a new function called sleeping mode in the later version. Tap to zoom is broken.

A recent update broke the tap to zoom. When tapping to zoom the photo disappears to the top right corner. This happens after flipping through a few photos. If you exit to grid then go back to the photo you want to zoom, it works properly again. This is super annoying. Fix it devs!

Also, this app has great potential, but is missing important file operations such as being able to copy or move photos to new or other folders for organizing purposes.
